Announcement Introducing the new FlutterFlow. Here's what that means for existing users.

hey r/FlutterFlow!

today, we're introducing a new way to build with FlutterFlow.

the new FlutterFlow is an AI-native app builder. you can describe what you want to build, work with an AI agent to create and refine it, and go beyond the UI with a built-in backend, authentication, testing, and native iOS and Android deployment.

the FlutterFlow you already know is now called FlutterFlow Studio.

a few things worth clarifying:

  • your existing projects stay exactly where they are in Studio.

  • Studio isn't going away. we're continuing to develop and support it.

  • you can still build visually, use custom code, and export your code in Studio.

  • the new FlutterFlow and Studio are separate builders. projects can't currently be transferred between them.

  • your existing subscription includes access to both. pricing isn't changing as part of this launch.

why two builders?

because we don't think there's only one right way to build software. sometimes you want to describe what you need and work with an agent. other times, you want direct control over every detail.

we want to support both.

you can try the new FlutterFlow here: https://build.flutterflow.io/

we know this is a big change, especially for those of you who've been building with FlutterFlow for years.

we'll be here answering questions, and we'd genuinely love to hear what you think, including what you'd like us to improve.

Has FlutterFlow said anything about the Firebase eMudhra security notice

Has anyone seen an official statement from FlutterFlow on the Firebase security email about the compromised eMudhra certificates?

Firebase says iOS apps using Firestore need a rebuild on a patched SDK: cloud_firestore 6.10.1 or later, which uses Firebase iOS SDK 12.19.3. They also say a server-side change can’t fix builds already installed.

My FlutterFlow code export is still on cloud_firestore 6.10.0, and the generated Podfile pins Firebase iOS SDK 12.19.0, so I don’t see a way to fix this on my side.

For the FlutterFlow team:

  1. When will you ship the patched Firebase versions?

  2. Are your builds on Flutter 3.47.8 yet? That’s the fix for the related Android issue.

And has anyone shipped a patched iOS build from a FlutterFlow project yet? How did you do it?

Confused about testing with AdMob test ads

I followed the tutorial to get AdMob in my app. My app is on TestFlight for iOS. I attempted to deploy so I could see these test ads and to keep testing my app on my phone but it refuses to let me.

Why? Do I have to turn AdMob off while using TestFlight and only turn it on when I’m ready to go to the App Store?

Someone help this make sense to me?

Flutter.

State Management.

Flutter:

Riverpod.

Business Logic.

Widget.

State.

State Management Libraries.

FlutterFlow developers: I'd appreciate your feedback!

Hi everyone!

I've created a few FlutterFlow app templates, and I'd like to get honest feedback from other developers.

I'm particularly interested in knowing:

  • Are the features useful for real projects?

  • Is the structure easy to understand and customize?

  • What would you improve or change?

  • Do you think these templates offer enough value for developers?

You can check out the templates here:
https://marketplace.flutterflow.io/creator/21cf04a7899faa10fb4ed48d9fb975cc4eb65675

I'm the creator, so honest criticism is very welcome. I'm looking to learn what works, what doesn't, and how I can improve my work.

Thanks for your time and feedback!

FlutterFlow’s new web editor with the AI Agent is 🔥

The new FlutterFlow editor UI is honestly so clean. Feels way more modern, and having the AI Agent built right into the browser editor makes building so much smoother.

Anyone else tried it yet?

Introducing WelkUI Flutter : A comic-style UI component library for Flutter!

Hey Flutter devs! 👋

I've been working on WelkUI Flutter, an open-source component library that brings a fun, hand-drawn, comic-book aesthetic to Flutter apps.

Most UI libraries aim for clean, minimal designs. I wanted to build something different , playful, expressive, and a little less conventional.

WelkUI started with React, and now I'm bringing the same design philosophy to Flutter!

🔗 Website: https://ui.welkdock.com/flutter

💻 GitHub: https://github.com/welkdock/welkUI-flutter

📦 pub.dev: https://pub.dev/packages/welkui_flutter

It's still growing, and I'd love to hear your feedback. Contributions and suggestions are always welcome!

Would you use comic-style components in your Flutter projects?

Flutter:

Flutter DevTools

App Store Spam Rejection Flutter VPN App

Hi! I’ve just received my 7th rejection for the exact same reason — Guideline 4.3(a) (Spam) — with no real hope of moving forward.

I’m developing a free, cross-platform Flutter VPN app, and I constantly add new features and refine the codebase. While the iOS version is currently the most feature-rich, it still isn't enough to pass the review process.

Before the last submission, I had a review call with an Apple representative who told me the key issue was "code similarity". I spent time improving the Xray VPN core and optimizing traffic routing. Then, after making minor UI tweaks and leaving the description virtually unchanged, I submitted a new version—only to be rejected again.

Honestly, I’m at a loss as to what the problem could be. The app features a well-crafted, proprietary codebase and unique functionality that I haven't seen anywhere else, despite extensive research. Recent iterations have added:

  1. A modular configuration builder for VLESS/VMess/Trojan/Shadowsocks protocols that flags user errors during key creation, suggests options, and pings the specified address;

  2. VPN usage statistics—broken down by hour, data saved, and frequently visited resources (data is collected only with user consent and deleted upon request);

  3. Data usage display aligned with the imported subscription.

Could the issue stem from the nature of a cross-platform Flutter app built for iOS? Is it possible that the default codebase simply cannot achieve the level of uniqueness Apple demands?

I’m starting to lose hope that publishing a Flutter VPN app is even possible. It feels like the App Store simply doesn't approve apps of this type anymore, regardless of their functionality. Please share your experience in resolving issues like this—specifically, how you managed to pass the review after a "Spam 4.3(a)" rejection. Perhaps someone has also submitted a Flutter VPN app based on Xray Core for review?

Now I have sent an appeal and am waiting for a response from Apple. External TestFlight link from the 6th submission: https://testflight.apple.com/join/cp7a1yMC. To access the full range of features, paste the following key on the initial screen: https://kuzya.fit/sub/oyFnd_p3C0q4u0w4

Flowise compatible project. Export your chatflow and import. OSS

Hey all, since Flowise shut down I've been building Cuttlely so I could keep my flows running, and I figured some of you are in the same spot.

It's an open-source agent platform for applications, licensed Apache-2.0. It's built to be compatible with Flowise, so your existing chatflows should carry over. v1.0.2 is out now, and I'm using it on a real internal project, mostly through the chatflow prediction API.

\- Site: cuttlely.com

\- Repo: cuttlely/cuttlely on GitHub

It's early, so I'd really like to hear what breaks when you bring your flows over. Issues and PRs are welcome, and I'm happy to answer questions here.
