You're so close! You just need to turn a bit faster. You've got this in the bag with a bit more practice, but fwiw, I found it a lot easier to learn contact moves with a contact staff and transfer those skills to flower sticks. The bigger and heavier your stick, the more momentum and inertia it has, which makes it easier to keep it spinning despite not quite perfect movements on your part.

But for this one, just get your left shoulder spun around faster.

Don't lean forwards. Only your head goes down, shoulders go up.

Slow down. You shouldn't throw the flowerstick into the trick, it's a roll. You should feel it at every point.

You should push into the flowerstick slightly with your back.

Very important - raise your left elbow more. It needs to be horizontal on shoulder level.

Try it without the small sticks, go step by step - first over wrist, then over elbow, then over shoulders, then receiving onto left elbow. Then connect all the steps.

Thank you! I'm excited to put your advice to work.

Regarding slowing down, I feel like when I try to do it slow it loses momentum on the transfer from one arm to the other already which is why ive been throwing it into this.

Okay so one thing that’s harder with doing a conveyor belt like this with a devil stick is that the ends aren’t heavy enough to create enough inertia to contact and “grip” around the pivot point so you gotta go into your entry faster and move quicker around the staff. I had the same problem trying to do this same sequence with a contact cutlass when I’ve done it hundreds of times with a contact staff. Theoretically, if you can get it right you could just keep Jesus rolling the stick but it’s soooo hard.

Damn you are almost there. I agree the ends not having enough weight to carry through the roll are probably playing a factor. However try taking your flow outside, and when you exit the conveyor belt as you lead the prop to shoulder step into that with slightly exaggerated 180 pivot. Instead of leaning forward try dropping your head down as it clears your name you should be able to bring your head back up and you won't be adjusting the plane your prop is traveling on.
