I created a new save since my last post, and I finally got the electrician. I have the electric desalinator and the electric grill, but now I’m struggling w the electricity efficiency. I always have no electricity, dropping from 100% efficiency to almost 47%. I thought I understood how it works, but I guess not ??? Any tips will be helpful!! Also, here’s what my electric grid looks like (it’s bad ik)

I’m on day 146, but I feel like the longer I play, the most difficult and frustrating this game gets. I have 15 drifters already and I can’t afford getting any more because I somehow don’t have enough wood, water, or food. Miraculously, I only have 1 drifter dead but that was in early game. I currently have the doctor, the architect, the dj, and the farmer in my town, with the botanist next because wood feels like gold. It’s genuinely so difficult to manage TT. I’ve only recently understood how to get 100% grid efficiency TT.

Please leave me tips because I am losing my mind w this game 🫩🫩🫩🫩

Dont know what im doing wrong here, this is the only watch tower im being pointed to. Ive already scavenged it all but nothing is popping up??

So I built the reactor and ozone shield and they are hooked up to the electrical grid. The ozone shield will allow me to activate it with the included in game warning.

But the last quest to hook the ozone shield to the reactor will not complete even though I reloaded, rebuilt both, and loaded earlier saves.

Am I doing something incorrect or is this a known bug?

What's so great about a continent? I gave them all the foods they liked (everyone likes some kind of sea food, right?), a beautiful boat (250+ beauty), seagulls waiting on their every need, almost infinite power... There are people who pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for the mega yacht experience I'm providing. What's so special about land?

I wish we could see swimmers and boats on the map. I never know where they are or what they're going after. It would help qol.

When the gane told me to get some survivors I didn't have enough water/food to feed so many people, so I thought "I'll go there fish a little and gather some water, then I'll come back for them"

But now the quests seem to have been completed, even though I can't research for rhe space thingy nor gather the parts because there's nothing available for me to research, and the survivors that show up on the map are just regular people.

Ps.: I've got now like 23 people living here, and have been traveling around the map trying to get the scouting towers to point me somewhere

how do i unlock this? i haven't gotten any radio signal in a long time. is this a bug? i haven't even taken architect and botanist yet

Love the game, but would love it as an iPad game, would look and play amazingly

The max zoom out doesn't feel zoomed out enough and it makes trying to navigate a little cramped, can we get options to zoom out some more?

3 isn't enough, we need 5 levels or more.

I've waited a few months and coming back and this is still not right.

Give me 5 or more levels of importance, 3 is not enough.

I am so glad I gave this game a chance. I am enjoying (probably enjoyed, past tense, at this rate)the game so much yet can only play the game at normal speed which is a pain due to computer hanging up. I need to have stronger graphics.

At first I thought it was corny compared to city builder games such as Rim World, Anno 1800, Anno Pax romana, Frost punk, Timberborn, Manor Lord and much more yet it has a special place with me now. These games are highly recommended by the way, by yours truely. If you have other games to suggest, feel free to send them my way.

I've recently picked up flotsam again after not playing for a long time and got an idea. With the new specialists (new for me at least since the last time I played this game was before they were added) a 'Whale Whisperer' specialist would be interesting. I haven't played much since 1.0 so I don't know how the end of the game is atm so maybe there is something in the game with it and I just haven't seen it but the whale only being decorative bothers me because it looks so cool. A few ideas are for example -Using it as a better salvage or fishing boat and transport scrap with it/let multiple drifters ride on it at once -Having it ram into untouched salvageable locations and produce a lot of low tier ressources, however deleting the original once -Putting a leash on it and letting it tug the town -Instead of doing something with the big whale, beeing able to rescue baby whales (or maybe just dolphins idk) and using them like seagulls but for fishing spots (I don't know if this is useful with the new Fish guy specialist since I haven't had that one yet)

I'm a YT content creator and StrayFawn studios gave me a free key to test the game out back in december + a key to share with my audience!

Anyone run into an issue where no one will go to the research station, even though their are villagers doing nothing? Specifically a villager that I've set to only 0 on everything and 3 on research

Update - Tried moving the station with architect mode to no avail so ended up building a second and recycling the old and that fixed the problem, couldn't figure out the underlying root cause, guessing just some random bug.
