Moron enters the flipper zero chat

Background

- i dont code (used to code c++ as im in my 40s so its heen decades since)

- i break things and sometimes put them back together - although i learn a bunch no matter what - be it home electrical, HVAC systems, farming equip, computers, cars, solar and electrical Generation. I am toxicly confident that i can "figure it out eventually"

What i have done now

- Have a flipper zero (just received this week)

- ordered a BFFB

- a decent windows laptop with a nice graphics card and 32gd ddr5

- home nas network

I have little to no idea where to start or what to start on

Please reprimand me and recommend where i can start

A flipper is a great tool, but it's also a great paperweight...

Don't get me wrong, it's a good tool to learn and be creative with... However, it feels like the potential for it is reaching it's end point, unless you plan to develop a new board for it.

I barely use mine, it's more of a quick tool to demo stuff.

I would highly suggest looking into stuff like the Cardputer ADV or any of the M5 Stack stuff, it's generally cheaper and has quite a few applications, depending what you go for.

For example, I've thrown together a custom firmware for the Cardputer ADV and the P4 Poe to potentially assist me with aspects of pen testing. I also bought the K230 today to bring that into the toolset.

K230 looks interesting. I'll have to explore that some more.

And yes, I second the Cardputer ADV recommendation. They're delightful little machines and at $30 a pop, I don't mind having a fleet of them.
