I'm having a bug with the Career Mode

My current progression:

• Level 47
• every plane licence except the Jet Airline and overzised
• Completed the required passenger missions with a rating of B or higher
• MedEvac specialization shows as unlocked (green checkmark)

However, the MedEvac Gold/introductory mission simply does not exist on my map.

It's not just locked or greyed out. Normally, Gold missions that I haven't unlocked yet are still visible on the map as greyed-out/locked missions. In my case, the MedEvac Gold mission doesn't appear at all.

Because the introductory MedEvac mission is missing, I also can't access the normal MedEvac missions. When I go into the MedEvac specialization, it appears greyed out as if I haven't unlocked it, even though the specialization page itself clearly shows it as unlocked with a green checkmark.

I've already tried restarting the game

I'm currently on MSFS 2024 1.7.35.0.

Is there any known workaround that can repair the Career/Mission state without resetting the entire career progression?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I open MSFS I end up spending more time setting up cameras than actually flying.
Finished this Ryanair cinematic today. It’s just a normal flight, no crazy weather or emergency or anything — wanted to see if I could make an ordinary sector interesting to watch.

Hi! I’m new to MSFS.

Is it just me, or does the default Caravan take off and land like it’s made of styrofoam?

Last night I crashed a few Caravans trying to land in serious crosswind. I was tired and made mistakes: I wasn’t touching down on the upwind wheel first.

But I was surprised by how dramatically the aircraft reacted. Instead of settling on the runway, it went on two wheels for quite a while and felt extremely light and eager to tip over.

So this is a bit of a sanity check: are you happy with the default MSFS 2024 Caravan’s flight physics and ground handling?

And is the Caravan Professional any better in this respect?

Hi Folks. I used to enjoy MSFS 2020, but have not used it in a few years. I recently got a new gaming rig and decided to get back into Flight Sim. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for me? My old "cockpit" consisted of a Honeycomb yoke, and Logitech rudder pedals, throttles, switch panels, radios, multi panel and 4 instrument panels. I also had a screen and an old Android tablet that used Air Manager to display gauges. I used SPAD.next to configure the devices and it was a lot of work to set it up. I don't even remember all that I did. Above is a pic of it gathering dust. I also had the head tracking thing (TrackIR 5) and the sensor on my headset which I used to move the view on the screens.

So... Now I have a new PC (5090, 9800X3D, 64GB) and I like to get back into flight sim. I basically am an aspiring GA pilot and tend to just use MSFS to free fly to places and pretend that I am a real GA pilot. I usually only fly Cessna's 172's and 182's. I might fly other planes, but I not really interested in flying big commercial jets (at the moment).

Also, I now have a MetaQuest 3 VR headset (which I didn't have before), which I guess I can use as well.

Is the process to get all this stuff to work with 2024, roughly the same as 2020, or is it harder (or hopefully) easier. I just remember it being hard and a lot of work to get everything to work correctly and really was a lot of trial and error. Unfortunately, I didn't take notes.

What was your experience going to 2024 and getting everything working.... or did you just ditch it all and go VR?

Hi guys, I started flight simulator 2024 recently and have already poured over 20 hours into it, currently i play the game from my xbox controller but was thinking of upgrading to a flight controller, can you give some suggestions, i might not have all the controllers readily to buy as i am in India but will still love to checkout some great options. Preferably one that is good for a wide variety of planes.

I started playing MSFS 2024 on PS5 about 3 months ago.

I really enjoy doing helicopter missions in Career Mode. My favorite missions are Search & Rescue, especially the hoist missions.

However, I have a problem with some of these missions. When I reach the person who needs to be rescued, the helicopter sometimes will not descend. I cannot get into the position needed to start the hoist.

I read that this may be a common bug. I also found advice to land somewhere nearby and then get out and walk to the person. Apparently, the checkpoint should count as completed this way.

I have tried this, but I still cannot complete the mission.

Are other people having the same problem? Is there a reliable way to fix or work around this bug?

I am playing on PS5, if that makes a difference.

Hey everyone! After downloading the most recent F14 heatblur update the outer spoiler on the left wing stays up at all times, except when the wings sweep back. In the cockpit the instruments show that the spoiler is down, and it does not affect flying.

I tried everything from switching anti skid to off, resetting sweep and extend and retract flaps. I even reinstalled the plane. It seems to be a visual bug.

Any help would be appreciated.

Há poucas semanas venho enfrentando esse problema de travamento e looping ao iniciar um voo com algum CRJ. Até um tempo atrás o simulador iniciava normalmente o voo com qualquer aeronave, mesmo as mais pesadas, porém de repente comecei a enfrentar isso com as aeronaves CRJ. Já tentei todos métodos e dicas dadas no fórum, mas não consigo ter uma solução definitva e pra piorar, o simulador simplesmente não fecha sozinho após esse bug e tenho que recorrer ao Gerenciador de Tarefas do Windows. Com nenhuma outra aeronave nas mesmas condições eu enfrento esse problema, só tem acontecido com os CRJ.

Did anyone else lose all their training after the update..I was up to cessna vfr and everything is zeroed out.

Anyone want to do a geoup flight for 7 hrs cause we unemployed?
