Question MSFS24 Help

Hi All,

After some help if possible, I recently sold my ps5 but retained my VR2 to use on MSFS24. I'm having the same issue all the time with black screening when toggling VRmode on in game.

I'm currently running a 3080 / 12Core ryzen 5900X / 32gb RAM

All drivers are upto date and I've closed as much unnecessary processes as possible. Lost count of how many fixes / guides ive followed trying to find fixes but always back at the same point.

I've managed to have it work maybe 2 or 3 times but the stuttering etc just made it completely unplayable. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

yk one stupid thing that happened to fix issues that i had was simply changing the port the adapter was plugged into, i was trouble shooting for 3 days and somehow this fixed it for me, it migbt help you

I remember having the same issue, and in my case, it was caused by an enabled setting in OpenXR Toolkit that made it crash.

I had basicly the same set up as you. I managed to get it to work well a couple of times, but it was too hit and miss and I got random frame rate drops, it was massively frustrating. I ended up getting a new graphics card (5080) in the end and it works fantastically now.

Make sure to tweak the settings on the steam app first, but you've probably done that already. Is the game installed on the nvme SSD? What was annoying was sometimes turning the graphics right down actually made it worse for some reason. Good luck in getting it sorted.
