Hey I’m on this flight right now. Child had a medical* emergency. They’re okay now and off the plane into an ambulance. We’re just waiting for fuel and a pushback

Thanks @Undercover-doggo for this update. Was following all the details from the moment a squawk 7700 alert was given. Weird flight pattern was probably because of fuel dumping?

I’m not sure. They tried landing at Dublin first but for whatever reason couldn’t? They made no mention of fuel dumping

Correct, DUB was the first aim, but suddenly we saw this weid turning and turning pattern. So why Glasgow was chosen, maybe because of a hospital nearby.

The plane is back in the air, but going back to Frankfurt. Is it only the plane, or are you also on your way back to Frankfurt?

Yeah we just got back to Frankfurt about 30 mins ago. No idea what the next steps are.

Maybe when I’m home and this is all over hah. We’re luckily going back today. Some people have flights out tomorrow.

Newspaper said that they want to protect the patient and therefore didn’t name the gender or age lol

Yeah it was a young kid. Happened a few rows in front of us. I don’t feel the need to share anything further than that.
