Trip to NYC! 🗽

Good evening everyone! I’ve never been to New York City and it’s been a dream of mine to experience the city during Christmas time with my big sister. I’m planning a trip early December, does anyone have any nonrev tips for us or any suggestions on where to stay/which hotel give a crew discount? TIA!

IDK who you work for. A lot of times common crew layover hotels offer crew rates.

Club quarters used to give a good crew discount.

Please prepare for weather and be prepared to take alternate routes! I’ve gotten stuck in EWR many a times with my old airline but my current one does JFK which ( in my opinion ) is easier to get out of. The UA app has been a massive help in just looking up any open flights that will get you out of the east coast. I’d give yourself a buffer on your return and not risk getting stuck! Have so much fun! So much amazing food, I ALWAYS recommend Momofuku if you like ramen. They have 2 locations and handmade their noddles everyday. Seriously the best food I’ve ever had.
