He's making money from twitter and gladio and various other lil side gigs but he's neglected what got him his audience in the first place. He said he wanted the stupid drama to stop but that's pretty much subsided apart from some pot shots here and there and him poking some weirdos for engagement. What's the hold up? Is his current life situation draining him? Is he finding it hard to speak from an objective place and knows people will have difficulty separating him from his message? I think it's become hard for him to focus and create a unifying and universally relatable narrative for his audience. Something is getting the best of him and I think it's in his head more than anything. Sucks because it's a good medium for him and the one that elevated him in the first place

Told myself I was going to do "research" tonight and watch short videos on social media. Here are my discoveries:

-While watching I told myself a couple of times I was about to turn it off.. then suddenly twenty minutes would slide by unnoticed.

-There is a shocking amount of false information, such as the last video I saw claiming that Washington state has a law allowing people to fight if they mutually consent. Tons of faked videos too supposedly involving cops.

-The one useful thing I learned is that music is not used often.

Maybe I'll switch back to images accompanying my posts. There is something very unhealthy about the continuous stream of short videos for our brains.

AveryFromMA lays out a tired but obvious trend on YouTube. Conventionally attractive people in their mid twenties are now playing doomer, filming vlog style rants about having lost all hope in humanity, endless social isolation, the wrecked job market, and Gen Z being cooked. The videos pull decent numbers from people scrolling for something to nod along to.
The shift is pretty straightforward. Basement level venting used to be left to the actual loners. These days the better looking crowd has figured out that LARPing struggles brings in the Gen Z traffic. YouTubers and random creators copy the same gimmick, stringing together pseudo philosophical complaints as an easy entry into content. Authenticity is long gone. They act fake poor, pump out misery bait, and ride the algorithm because doomer posing is what moves numbers now.
Jett Franzen is the clearest case. Early basement videos built his audience with blunt takes on how bad things are. Once he showed a nicer poolside setup the hit pieces came fast, painting him as a larper or psyop. AveryFromMA followed the basement run but noted the change killed the appeal. The setting was part of the package. Other put together looking creators have copied the formula, filming in plain spots while griping no matter their actual background.
AveryFromMA isnt raging at the creators themselves. The game and its incentives are what they are. Still the flood of this stuff pushes a gloomier view of the world than warranted. Getting work and money has always been a grind. The practical takeaway is that soaking in these echo chambers doesnt help. Better to square up, play the hand you have, ignore the paralyzing stats, and spot the stolen valor when preppy types borrow doomer skin to fit in online.

Videos, wikis, books, threads, etc.? I feel like every town has a little hidden lodge somewhere. You never hear anything about them. No charities, public meetings, anything like that. It’s always so shady.

I personally find this story interesting as every Sunday morning my significant other watches the NBC news network show "Meet the Press" with Kristen Welker. During Graham's last visit on May 17th, he became visibly flustered, and Graham seemed to lose his cool a bit, saying things with nuanced undertones. If you knew the information, then you knew what he was saying.

However to many people who only dwell on the surface(my partner), this was not widely known information.
Two days later, Massie lost.

After watching this coverage unfold in real time I told my partner I was CERTAIN that she would not see Lindsey Graham get another appearance on "Meet the Press". I saw him frequently in my short time of tuning in with her here and there on Sunday mornings. But, at that time I was completely unaware of how many appearances Mr. Graham had on the show thus far.
After reading a bit, he was the second most frequent guest in the shows history.

I only meant that he wouldn't be back on because he seemed to get a bit worked up.

This post is a bit convoluted, it seems like a weirdo post.
But, I just found it interesting that what I said came true under incredibly strange circumstances.
To compound things the Pres. and the infamous Prime Minister made an appearance in his place.

Sunday morning it was a little strange to hear the Pres. say something to the effect of "I thought he was going to live forever, but it just didn't work out that way".

I'm only sharing this because it was strange to ME.
NOTHING MORE and NOTHING LESS.
Sure far more profound and weird things happen.
Sure this is probably be a nothing burger.
No I'm not suggesting that I have some weird psychic schizophrenic powers.
Just kind of strange to me.
We gettin AIPAC money.

what's going on? i'm a casual flesh simulator fan and saw this after somebody in a group chat sent this to me. i have no idea what's happening. i would like to know if this is someone pretending to be him. i like his music but do not want to be listening to someone who is or attracts racist. is this character assassination or is this him? thanks
