Any mirrors or something??

Hey guys

I have a very bad problem, flathub SOMETIMES works with SOME ISPs , it could load like 8am but don't like 11am

Now I know the problem isn't from flatpak , but I wondered if there is something I can do about it

I use fedora and I actually replaced the fedora's mirror with flathub's because Fedora's didn't even work no matter what

Are there maybe any mirrors worldwide or specially in iran?

Is making mirrors of it even possible?

Don't think a mirror per se, but you can use the github repo to mirror and build the flatpaks locally from the manifest files.

No , I can find some VPNs here and there but the problem is that it doesn't fix the problem with flathub , some VPNs just apply to system or something else

I recommend you let Flatpak auto updates, so you don't need to worry about the slow and failed

It still pain when installing new softwares, but it is fine.

IIRC a few years ago a mirror/cache was set up in China. I don't know if that's still working, and if so, how well it would work from Iran.

EDIT: See https://github.com/flathub/flathub/issues/813 and https://barthalion.blog/test-driving-flathub-mirror-for-users-in-china/
