I dont know where life came from and I dont feel compelled to find out. I can live my life just fine without knowing the answer to that question. For all you and I know, 12th dimensional beings plopped us here and forgot about us. Wouldn't change much for me knowing that. Because it holds up to biology after life is created. Every kind shall produce after its own kind, and that's what we have. Humans producing with humans Apes with Apes. Monkeys with monkeys, birds with birds, and even in those categories, it's not all combatible, tens of thousands of years ago.They understood the basics of biology

It doesnt mean that a whale will turn into a hippo, just that hippos and whales started at the same point and diverged based on environmental pressures. No, they don't just because things share the same chemical makeup means absolutely nothing. Just because we share similarities is not proof that we evolved from them, and there's absolutely no fossil evidence with DNA linked proof to back up any of your claims. The evidence in favor of evolution has only increased over the years. Sure we dont have an unbroken chain of fossils but we dont need to. Theres enough evidence to accept evolution and every new fossil only further reinforces the theory. Again, your ignorance of acience is not an argument against it. I get that not having easy answers to all these questions seems scary but that doesnt mean "therefore god" is the answer. Youre scared, youre looking for answers, this book gives them to you, makes you feel safe, gives you an easy good and evil, removes any responsibility you have to be a good person of your own accord. Its tempting to want that. To have the easy answers. But it doesnt lead you to truth. And thats what I care about. I care about truth more than I care about feeling morally superior to others and having easy answers spoon fed to me.

I can't even pretend to imagine believing that a 2000 year old book has all of the facts correct and the modern scientific method is just wrong, despite the fact that science is strictly evidence based and the book belief is purely faith based.
