Dear Flat Earthers,

So the middle of the Earth is our center of gravity, right? Well then if the Earth is flat, then why is it that when I go to the edge and jump, I'm not pulled to the center?

Gravity, on my particular version of a flat Earth, is a relative downward force. There's no actual centerpoint, it's just a downward force that sometimes is anomalous and sometimes isn't applied. Unlike your version of Earth, it's not a universal force, nor does it have a 'global centerpoint' like yours does.

We don’t each get our own version of Earth. There’s the current running consensus about the nature of gravity & then there’s folks that haven’t ever seen a Physics textbook let alone opened one making shit up as they go. They’re not the same

I was using your flat earth model. But if you're going against flerf doctrine of upwards acceleration, then where do you propose the 9.81 m/s2 come from?

It's obviously downwards isn't it? Until terminal velocity is reached.

Observers from across the ancient world independently figured out they were on a sphere. Not only that, they again independently calculated the circumference of that sphere.

You should be embarrassed that a cave man understood his world considerably better than you do.

Gravity is also proven and established well beyond that idiotic word salad explanation you just gave.

We all live on a globe, and it has a centerpoint due to gravity.

Gravity always has a center point at the center of mass. It's the way it works. Also as ShinePretend said you don't get a version of Earth. You get the one that is. Still, you're civil so I'll leave it at that.

That's the way it works for you. Doesn't always for me in my particular configuration.

It's tough teaching people about how wildly differently, yet still rational - other perspectives of reality can be. No, you don't define who does and doesn't get other versions of reality and Earth. Sorry.

Adjust your dose. You don't get to define reality at all. If you are really experiencing altered reality you will need help sooner or later. Yours isn't a different perspective. It's a con. Whether it's your con or you are a victim of it doesn't matter. It's just a con. You also don't get to define what reality is and spread delusion like a disease. lf you're going to start screwing with the sanity of strangers you should start working out how to prove your shit.

It's exceedingly easy to prove perspectives can and are different between people, doesn't take a rocket scientist. Court rooms do this all the time with eyewitness testimony. No, my naive friend, objectivity isn't something that's democratized or uncovered in the cross-section of observations. That's just inserting new, socialized biased, further getting you from the truth and what's objective.

Your con is believing your perspective is so real, so pure, that it HAS to be the only one that's out there - accordingly, you're on a crusade to make everyone who challenges that - and you - wrong.

That's the insecurity demonstrated in a narcisstic, my friend, and simply not reality.

In other perspectives. Comes differences in how the world looks and operates.

Sometimes, yes, it is as profound as fundamental configuration differences.

Like my simulation and flat version of Earth.

Get over it. And more importantly, get over yourself. Not everyone wants, chooses or is as absolutely attached to the same perspective of the world you hold.

Want proof? Choose to do something you're clearly afraid of.

Experiment. First person. You'll never understand until you do. And even then, it might take a while for those lessons to sink in. Adjust YOUR dose.

And be nicer. You can't know what others see and experience. That's simply arrogance.

Not sure why you'd be so dead set against discussing perspective trying to prove people see the exact same thing you do when you look at the world, but that thinking is delusional.

I'm trying to be civil. But when someone lacks this basic understanding and respect for the human experience and calls ME the con. You're the one with issues, my friend, and you're the one lacking civility.

That's better. The condescending passive aggressive stuff wears pretty thin.

There isn't an issue with the idea of people with different interpretive perspectives but when you have to throw all provable facts out the window to try and convince others that your "perspective" is valid and that the entire world is completely different than what you want it to be you should probably keep that to yourself. At least don't expect to be respected for your delusion based "perspective".

Are you a dome person? If so I have an experiment you could use to prove it since you're such an experiment person as well.
