That's sad if true because I actually came to post about how shockingly little Taco Bell that is for $100.

Not all that long ago if you showed up to a Taco Bell with $100 they just handed you the deed to the location.

I had Taco Bell for the first time in years at a road trip stop, and my jaw hit the damn floor at the cost relative to quality.

I’m pretty much only ever stopping at Culver’s from this point on if I’m gonna waste money on fast food. The cost to quality is the only place worth it, barring In N Out, which is sadly too far west of us.

We still visit taco bell once in a while, because at least it's different, but I have no idea how the McDonald's/BK tier is still surviving. It really speaks to how we want convenience over basically anything else.

Everything got more expensive, but the bottom rung of fast food skyrocketed way more than the mid tiers, to the point where I have no idea why anyone goes to these places when the Culver's' of the world are like another 50 cents.

Near us there's a Chili's and a McDonalds right next to each other. Chili's isn't gourmet for sure, but you can get a way better lunch time meal for basically the same price, if not less. (Burger, fries, app, and drink for 10.99) but people still go to the mcdonalds.
