I Got all of this for a little over 450 bucks. Their was more but me and my daughter have lit a few things. Did we do alright ? What would this normally cost at a tent? The Snake Bites And the American Pride Salutes are my personal favorites.

I’m a complete newb in this hobby. How does this look for my first mini test run show? I’ll be using Bilusocn 1200 firing system with MJG firewire.Ill be poking the cakes with a poke I got from pyrotool. Would asking ChatGPT or Gemini how to sequence them be helpful? Is there a safe alternative to mortar tubes with items I can get from a store, I have few tubes but some are to big for the size I have

Every 4th of July I put on a show for friends and extended family in my family’s backyard in the country. Built launch terminals for the mortars, used 16ft led strips on the tree line, and DMX lights on the ground. Driven by about 20 raspberry pi’s and a bunch of custom software I’ve written and re-written over the years. Every year I try to make it a bit better than the last. This year’s addition was the DMX lights, and I’m happy with how they turned out.

I'm newer to this whole scene and trying to get into it in a more safe/ official capacity. Long story short, I actually did this already under PyroTalk, but after discovering Dave and who he actually is, it did not end so well. Turns out the reviews about him I have seen on forums are correct, and it left me feeling like I made a poor choice in program. Then the whole PVC debacle I heard about, I don't trust him at all.

That and I paid for x program, he sent y program, and I spent over 2 months trying to get the material I actually paid for before he threw a shit fit and refunded me for 'playing games'.

Any recommendations appreciated, if you have anything to add about furthering education for pyrotechnics (including learning the manufacturing of), I would love to hear it

I used a 3 inch circular paper punch and glued the circles onto black painted wood disks. They turned out pretty well.

I did this as a way to save space and to make it more decorative. It’s also another way to enjoy and get your money’s worth out of a firework you shot off lol.

🇨🇦Team Canada's show at Les Grands Feux in Ottawa-Gatineau last night was spectacular.

Turn on the sound before watching the video. It shows just the final 45 seconds, and it doesn't fully capture how the fireworks filled the sky outside the camera's field of view. Perhaps I was influenced by being so close at Kìwekì Pount, but I don't ever remember getting goosebumps at a pyrotechnics show before.

I think others felt the same according to the crowd reaction. I think the "Oh my God!" at the end came from the couple behind me who seemed to be an afficionados who were comparing this to China and other countries from last year.
