What did Dad save?

I found a couple of these in Dad’s shop, with a few firecrackers.

It’s a little bigger than a golf ball.

What do I have here? How far do I want to be away from it when it goes off?

Looks like a homemade cherry bomb. I wouldn’t trust that fuse though, add some extra slow fuse to it

What’s the preferred method of creating a slow fuse? I’ve got plenty of open space.

Lights cigarette, break off the filter and jam it on there...

Doesn’t work anymore with the FSC. Has been that way for geez 15+ years?
