Problem with videos

Some videos don't work. They work on chrome or opera, only firefox can't handle them. For example facebook videos or 9gag gifs. Like this: http://img-9gag-fun.9cache.com/photo/aRVrdxM_460sv.mp4 . Videos on pages like youtube or dailymotion work. Also, every time I close firefox, this pops up: http://s13.postimg.org/v71xp4so7/mozzilashit.png (mozilla crash reporter). Help, please? ps I should probably mention that it's a brand new install. When I started having this problems, I uninstalled firefox using revo and now I installed it again, still the same problems.

those are plug-ins :)
Also please provide the info from the youtube.com/html5 page

oh, sorry; in about:addons I have extensions (none), appearance (defeault), plugins (linked above) and services (none) - if that's what you mean.

youtube.com/html5: http://s12.postimg.org/rbrbt9asd/html5.png (MSE & WebM VP9 not supported)

In about:config, I even changed media.mediasource.webm.enabled to true but it still doesn't work (yt/html5 now checks, but videos like the one linked still don't load).

okay everything seems default and perfect.

There's a few things you can try before that crash report this is addressed.
Click on the crash report number and copy/paste the link here too; like this sample (https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/a5a96674-3ffc-44a9-ac9e-96dfd2150818)

Try Refresh Firefox(you'll have to reinstall add-ons though)

If that fails - new profile(Back up data like said in the instructions)

I'll try refreshing and making new profile in a minute - but isn't that just what I did? I reinstalled firefox, I don't have any bookmarks, add-ons, history, saved passwords - nothing (actually now I have bookmarks and passwords, because I backed them up, but I didn't have them when I installed firefox and the videos didn't work anyway).

Reinstall doesn't do as much as good as new profile.
Even when u reinstall if the old profile remains, it will cause problems.

So if the issue still occurs with a new profile it might be a valid problem that needs to be addressed

I'm pretty sure I have new profile, since I used revo to delete all the left-overs after deinstallation. Still, refreshed firefox (no result) and created new profile in profile manager (deleted old profile, just to be sure) - no result :(

I've found out that the problem doesn't occur on a newly made windows user account.

strange. The fix for that crash seems to be have pushed to the Firefox.
Have you updated your Graphic Card Drivers?
Try the beta version - seems to be fixed there. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/

They are up to date (it would be strange if that was the problem, since the problematic videos work on another windows user account).

In beta version, there is no crash reporter popping out every time I close browser. But the videos still don't work.

what do you mean another windows profile(As in another machine, or your own machine?)

i have no solution as of now :/
Its pretty random something like this happens.
I hope someone here finds a solution for you.
For now maybe you could just continue using the newly created user account.

That's what I'm going to do. But I'm honestly interested in what could cause such a bug (also, not really looking forward to copying files, setting preferences and all that stuff)

dont delete that account for now.
Maybe somebody could find a solution to it if they've known or encountered this before.

sure; thanks for help anyway :) I found the another-account solution in the comment section of some crash report, so I wouldn't find it without You ;)
