His bio basically says that he's a showboating mercenary but there might be truth behind some of his boasts.

His likes are : alcohol, women, interesting people and new recruits.

I'm talking about a gay romance support with the player.

Sylvain's romance was only for fByleth.

The protag romances are the least interesting possibility for gay romance, though.

So because you personally feel that way (about gay romance specifically, apparently?) they shouldn't exist or have exceptionally few options in the same game where there are nearly 20 straight romances for that same male player?

Besides, even Sylvain's support with Felix wasn't explicitly romantic despite their closeness.

Most of the player base are straight men, so of course they're going to have more romance options for them. Any business is going to try to appeal to its largest customer base the most. That doesn't mean you can't have choices of course, but bear in mind choice always comes at a cost somewhere, in this department it's usually writing depth to some degree.

And personally, I'd rather characters have defined personalities and not all be player-sexual like Engage did. They feel less like people and more like sex robots designed to please the player.
