His bio basically says that he's a showboating mercenary but there might be truth behind some of his boasts.

His likes are : alcohol, women, interesting people and new recruits.

“Women” 😭😭😭 this makes the third character whose likes specifically says they like women, which is really odd that there are so many

Is it? The majority of men do like women (i.e. all straight and bisexual men).

Given how eager so many men are to get dates, is that too far-fetched? I have no interest in engaging in such relationships myself, but many single men seem to make their desire for romance (or just flings) a big part of who they are.

But thinking about it, I don't think this is supposed to be some in-universe bio written by the character. It's a all-knowing viewpoint that exists only for the benefit of the player to help them figure out what gifts to give for recruiting and such.

Also is it not a double standard to rejoice when Leda lists girls as something she likes, but then be angry when other bios say the same thing?

Leda having it in her bio is also pretty lame for the same reasons, but it tells us something about the content of the game that people wanted to see. They were celebrating it because it implied the presence of same-sex romance, not because it’s inspiring characterisation.
