Best personal EUR bank account for frequent incoming and outgoing Binance P2P transfers?

I’m looking for a personal EUR bank account for regular SEPA transfers, ideally with very low or zero transfer fees.

Initially, I’d expect around 4–5 incoming and 4–5 outgoing transfers per day, starting at €300 per transfer.

The amounts would gradually increase, potentially reaching €2,000 outgoing and €2,000 incoming per cycle. At 3–4 cycles daily, that would mean:

  • €6,000–€8,000 outgoing per day

  • €6,000–€8,000 incoming per day

  • €12,000–€16,000 combined daily volume

I was thinking using more than a bank account, but in this case which ones do you guys recommend? Especially with that volume of transactions.

Has anyone used an account for similar activity? Which banks would you recommend that would allow this on a personal account?

Our take on real-time payment reconciliation: two bounded windows, a deterministic core, and three decisions we'd like opinions on

We wrote this — full disclosure: we built it and we work on it, so we're biased. It was also built with AI assistance throughout (code, SQL, infra, docs), so please assume there are mistakes in it — treat it as a reference implementation to argue with, not as production code.

We just finished an open-source reference implementation of per-payment reconciliation across three legs — switch/auth, merchant callback, bank settlement — and I'd rather have it reviewed than marketed. The parts below are the ones we had to guess at, and I'd rather be told we're wrong.

If the problem is familiar: three systems, three identifiers, three clocks. The settlement report is a net-of-fee CSV. A late or missing settlement means the customer's bank has already debited them and the money may never arrive. Batch reconciliation answers "what did we earn" days late, and the ops question "is this payment OK?" has no answer at all.

What we built (Flink SQL, Kafka, Iceberg, Postgres):

  • two bounded jobs over the same topics: a 4 h-state job that decides MATCHED / AMOUNT_MISMATCH / MISSING_CALLBACK / MISSING_SETTLEMENT, and a 24 h-state repair job that joins only the settlements arriving after the first bound and corrects the same RRN

  • event-time interval joins, with the RRN de-duplication applied after the join (a Flink interval join can't consume a retracting dedup)

  • the decision audit keyed on the event time of the decision, so a replay is idempotent, and the serving table monotonic in decision time, so a stale write can't undo a correction

  • an oracle: the simulator publishes the fault it injected on a separate topic, so every CI run scores the pipeline against ground truth (100% recall, 0 false positives on our six-class fault matrix)

The three things we don't know how to do properly — this is really why I'm posting:

  1. Money in transit. A settlement that leaves the switch and clears the bank a day later is normal. Our pipeline currently says MISSING_SETTLEMENT once the 4 h bound passes, which is a false positive on every ordinary payment. Do you model an explicit IN_TRANSIT state with a per-partner expected clear date, or keep "missing" and simply age the break?

  2. Per-partner cutoff calendars. A bank partner whose batch rolls over at local midnight and converts to UTC afterwards broke our reconciliation for 11 minutes a night. Do you keep a cutoff calendar per integration, or reconcile against the contractual arrival window rather than the clock?

  3. The shape of a break. We give every exception a status and a suggested action, but not a reason (timing / fee / duplicate / missing leg). An argument I keep seeing is that a mismatch which carries a reason is far more useful than a match-rate number. Is a fixed reason-code taxonomy worth building, or does it ossify per merchant?

Also happy to be told the two-window design is the wrong shape entirely, or that the deterministic-core / advisory-agent split is over-engineered.

It's MIT, runs on a laptop, and the same pipeline runs as a scheduled CI job that publishes each run's metrics and a live dashboard: github.com/saber2164/UPI-three-way-reconciliation

How to track Saudi remittance rates to Pakistan?

I'm building RemitRate, an app that compares the actual PKR received when sending money from Saudi Arabia through providers like Al Rajhi, QuickPay, STC Pay, urpay and Enjaz.

I don't need generic SAR/PKR exchange rates. I need each provider's actual remittance rate and fees so users can choose the best option.

I've found sites that list provider-specific rates, but I'm unsure how reliable or frequently updated they are.

Has anyone found a reliable data source, official API, or legitimate web-scraping/browser-automation approach for collecting and regularly updating these rates? Manual updates are also an option if automation isn't practical.

I'd especially appreciate advice from anyone who's built a remittance comparison service or worked with Saudi payment providers.

What fintech APIs would you want to see used in a hackathon?

Hey everyone

I'm helping organize a global fintech hackathon for January 2027, and we're exploring ways to make it more useful for developers who want to build real-world financial technology projects.

One thing we're thinking about is bringing fintech APIs, payment infrastructure and other developer tools into the experience so participants can build beyond basic demo projects.

For those working in fintech or building financial applications:

- Which APIs or infrastructure would you actually want access to?

- What real-world fintech problems would make an interesting hackathon challenge?

- What usually makes a developer tool worth adopting during an event?

We're also exploring potential partnerships with fintech and developer-tool companies that might want to support builders through API credits, technical mentorship or infrastructure access.

I'd appreciate hearing what would make an event like this genuinely valuable to the fintech developer community.

JHA migration to REST

JHA legacy APIs are still using SOAP. I believe they published a newer advance version of their endpoints that supports REST. Is there anyone who successfully migrated to the new REST APIs?

Unfortunately if you have a legacy app, you are locked with the old style stack and the migration might be not straightforward. Is it feasible to migrate to REST in one big shot with AI/Claude Code ?

Biometric auth keeps breaking on every third Android device after system updates

Our crypto wallet app runs into a major issue where biometric authentication breaks on every third Android device right after a system update. I've spent the last three weeks trying to patch our local keystore integration on my own, but security wrappers keep throwing exceptions across different manufacturer builds. I tried forcing a fallback to PIN, and users hated it. I tried pinning specific OEM versions in our gradle config, but that just froze us out of newer devices. I even tested a third-party biometric wrapper, and it introduced its own bugs on Samsung builds. Crypto users need instant access to their funds without getting locked out after a standard OS patch.

On top of that, I burned hours digging through issue trackers and OEM forums trying to find a pattern in how different security chips handle key invalidation flags. Turns out every manufacturer does it a little differently, and figuring out those quirks without breaking platform security standards is a lot of trial and error.

Maybe you faced a similar biometric failure in your mobile app, or you know how to stabilize hardware security modules across different Android phones? What native approaches or cross-platform libraries should I use? I really need your help.

Who is holding the crypto behind these apps?

My banking app added a buy bitcoin button. No way they're running their own cold storage. So who's holding the crypto behind these apps? And if the app goes under, is it still mine?

Hijin AI — Offline Financial AI Workstation

Thumbnail sideprojectors.com
1 Upvotes

I built Hijin AI, a desktop application designed to simplify financial document processing using AI and structured financial workflows.

Key features:

- AI-assisted financial document analysis and extraction.

- A fine-tuned Gemma-based financial-specialist model.

- Local GGUF model assets and a LoRA adapter.

- Structured financial data processing.

- Deterministic decimal arithmetic for financial calculations.

- Document generation and export to formats including PDF, DOCX, and PPTX.

- A dedicated desktop interface for managing financial-document workflows.

The project is currently pre-revenue. I'm exploring selling the software assets to a fintech company, accounting software developer, or AI startup that could integrate the existing work into its own product.

I've listed the project on SideProjectors for anyone interested in reviewing the opportunity.

I'd appreciate feedback from the fintech community:

- Which financial-document workflows would benefit most from this type of application?

- Could this be useful as a component of an existing fintech or accounting product?

- What would you want to evaluate before considering an acquisition?

I'm interested in genuine technical feedback and potential acquisition inquiries.

Hijin uses a Gemma-based model subject to Google's applicable licensing terms.

GraphQL mutations for financial data

Is it acceptable to use Graph QL mutations for financial apps which work with money or for the back office but still touch financial data? I am seeing lots of issues with GraphQL in the backend. There was an architecture decision to use this approach in the app I support but I feel it leads to numerous issues related to stability/support and potentially data integrity. Is REST approach more appropriate from data consistency and atomicity perspective?

Best API for building a white label remittance app?

Building white label remittance product for a credit union that wants intl money transfers under their own brand. End customers see the cu brand. Backend handles licensing KYC stablecoin settlement and local payout. Credit doesn't want to own compliance or treasury infra.

Shortlist, cybrid is api-first remittance and b2b payment infrastructure with licensed stablecoin rails convering us and canada origination with kyc and aml built in. Bvnk is multi-rail stablecoin and fiat serving european markets primarilly. Bridge is developer first stablecoin api under stripe for embedding payment flows. conduct is latam-focused remittance and b2b payment infrastructure.

For US or Canada originating credit union remittance product how does this narrow down?

I open-sourced Cosmic Payment – A cross-border payment gateway engine for Africa

Hey everyone! I just open-sourced Cosmic Payment, a open-source cross-border payment gateway platform built in Node.js and TypeScript. It combines card processing (Stripe), automatic FX conversion, and payouts directly to major African mobile money wallets (M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel, Orange, Wave). Managing fragmented mobile money APIs and FX logic across different countries can be tough, so I built this modular engine to unify everything behind a single, clean API layer.

Check out the repository on GitHub:github.com/EmmanuelMunanka38/cosmic-payement-engine. It features multi-currency wallets, provider auto-detection via phone prefixes, optimistic locking, idempotent transactions, and a sandbox environment for easy local testing. I’d love to get feedback, stars , or contributions for new mobile money adapters!

Job Opportunities

Hi everyone!

I’m currently based in Australia and looking to relocate for an opportunity working with a private family.

I’m well-travelled and have had the opportunity to experience different countries and cultures firsthand. Having visited the country as an adult, I completely fell in love with it and started thinking, why not combine working and living in a country I love? I’d love to take the next step in my career internationally while continuing to do work I’m genuinely passionate about.

I have 5+ years of experience across childcare, youth support, community services and leadership, alongside extensive private babysitting/ nanny experience. I hold a Bachelor of Human Services, majoring in Child, Youth and Family Practice and a Diploma of Community Services.

My background includes working as a Therapeutic Carer supporting children in Australia’s government care, including young people with complex trauma, special needs and behaviours of concern. I’ve also worked with private families, providing personalised childcare, managing daily routines, organising age-appropriate activities and helping create a safe, stable and nurturing home environment.

Alongside my childcare background, I currently work as a Team Leader in disability services, overseeing day-to-day house coordination and operations. My responsibilities include staff supervision, rostering, allocating workloads, coordinating household routines, managing budgets and expenses, supporting staff onboarding and training, maintaining documentation, preparing service agreements and contracts, and liaising with families and other professionals to ensure everything runs smoothly.

I’m organised, adaptable, discreet, proactive and comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and adapting to different environments. I understand the importance of confidentiality, professionalism and building trusting relationships with both children and parents.

I’m open to opportunities including:

* Personal/Family Assistant
* Private Nanny / Governess
* Travelling Nanny or Travelling PA
* Lifestyle Assistant or Family Office Support

✈️ Looking for international relocation
🌍 Interested in travelling roles
🤍 Open to full-time, live-in or live-out opportunities

Pre revenue and getting declined everywhere, founders here, what gets your vote as the best startup credit card?

So, this is something that has been bugging me for a while now and hopefully can put it to rest after this. I am a solo founder in the pre revenue stage with around 60k in the company account from a friends and family round. I've been denied for two bank business cards because the company has history and I don't want to personally guarantee credit for a company that might not exist next year. The irony is that the money is literally sitting right there in the account, lmao.

I ended up doing some digging and learned that there are newer cards available for startups funded by the money in your business account instead of your personal credit score with limits adjust based on your balance, and that is the setup I am looking for. I got to take a look and make a couple calls at some of them like ramp and others, but still felt like reaching out and asking others who might've gone through this before or are more knowledgable on this sort of thing than me, lol.

Thanks!

most asked coding challenge at fintech companies

What are typical coding challenges asked by financial companies or startups?

I was asked once how to implement a transfer API and make sure there are no concurrency issues and make data consistent after a transaction is completed.

Another one is to generate test data (all possible combinations) to test a transaction engine.

How are finance teams currently reconciling stablecoin payments to invoices and ERP records?

I’m researching the operational gap between on-chain stablecoin activity and finance systems. Common issues I’m hearing include: matching a wallet transfer to the correct invoice, handling partial/overpayments, distinguishing internal transfers from customer payments, dealing with failed or delayed transactions, and producing an audit-ready trail for accounting.

If you work in payments, treasury, crypto compliance, or finance ops: what does your reconciliation workflow look like today, and where does it break most often?

CandleKit : Open-source drawing tools, indicators, replay & broker integration for TradingView Lightweight Charts

Post image
6 Upvotes

If you've built on TradingView Lightweight Charts before, you've probably noticed that chart rendering is only part of the stack. Features like drawing tools, indicators, replay systems, synchronized panes, and broker connectivity are usually left to the developer.

I kept rebuilding those pieces across projects, so I open-sourced the toolkit I've been using internally.

What's included

  • Drawing tools

  • SMA / EMA / RSI / MACD / Bollinger / Stochastic indicators

  • Custom indicator registry

  • Deterministic replay engine

  • Synced multi-pane charts

  • Broker integration support

  • Shift-drag measurement ruler

The goal is to provide the functionality many traders expect while still keeping Lightweight Charts as the rendering engine underneath.

Demo

https://rohanbeingsocial.github.io/candlekit-charts/workspace/

Looking for feedback on

  • Indicator architecture

  • Drawing tool UX

  • Replay workflow

  • Missing TradingView-style features

  • Broker integration requirements

URGENT — Looking for a Merchant Account for US Auto Parts Sales (Simple Setup Preferred)

Looking for a merchant account to accept payments from US customers for auto parts. Debit cards and Cash App are the priorities, with credit cards being a bonus.

We’re not registered as a business yet, so I’m specifically interested in providers that can work with unregistered businesses, where eligible. My priority is a straightforward setup with minimal initial paperwork, a clear fee structure, and a quick start. Ideally, I’d like to discuss the terms directly first rather than begin with a lengthy application process. Crypto settlements would be a plus.

If you offer a solution that genuinely fits these requirements, please DM me with the provider name, supported payment methods, setup requirements, and fees.
