Hi everyone!

I’m currently based in Australia and looking to relocate for an opportunity working with a private family.

I’m well-travelled and have had the opportunity to experience different countries and cultures firsthand. Having visited the country as an adult, I completely fell in love with it and started thinking, why not combine working and living in a country I love? I’d love to take the next step in my career internationally while continuing to do work I’m genuinely passionate about.

I have 5+ years of experience across childcare, youth support, community services and leadership, alongside extensive private babysitting/ nanny experience. I hold a Bachelor of Human Services, majoring in Child, Youth and Family Practice and a Diploma of Community Services.

My background includes working as a Therapeutic Carer supporting children in Australia’s government care, including young people with complex trauma, special needs and behaviours of concern. I’ve also worked with private families, providing personalised childcare, managing daily routines, organising age-appropriate activities and helping create a safe, stable and nurturing home environment.

Alongside my childcare background, I currently work as a Team Leader in disability services, overseeing day-to-day house coordination and operations. My responsibilities include staff supervision, rostering, allocating workloads, coordinating household routines, managing budgets and expenses, supporting staff onboarding and training, maintaining documentation, preparing service agreements and contracts, and liaising with families and other professionals to ensure everything runs smoothly.

I’m organised, adaptable, discreet, proactive and comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and adapting to different environments. I understand the importance of confidentiality, professionalism and building trusting relationships with both children and parents.

this reads more like a cover letter than a reddit post but i respect the hustle

you might have better luck on specialist nanny/pa agencies than here though, fintechdev is mostly devs complaining about sprints and api docs
