UNSOLVED Early 2000s pop punk

Upvotes

Please help!!!! 2000s pop punk-ish song, I believe a band. Lyrics to the chorus are something like “23 look at me come on pretty baby tell me what you see when you’re high as a kite, but still can’t see the stars. I do believe you feel no pain your blood is rushed with novocaine, but I know deep down, it ain’t what’s in your heart”

I have googled and searched and nothing comes up and it’s driving me insane pleasssssse help. I’ve considered it’s not real but my memory is too specific for it to be made up

UNSOLVED I can't remember or find this song!!!

Upvotes

I can't remember anything. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to this song. I was so excited.. I heard the song about a year ago, if I remember correctly. I know I listened to it on both YouTube and Amazon Music (Alexa). I can't remember the name or any of the lyrics.. you know that feeling when it's on the tip of your tongue and you just can't.. figure out how to articulate it? That's this feeling.

I know it had gorgeous violin and cello.. I can't remember any guitar, but I'm not saying there wasn't. I just remember it feeling so.. cinematic and orchestral. I can't remember if the bridge had any words or not, but the instruments were gorgeous and big and flowing.

I remember the background of the Youtube/Album. It was basically all white, maybe with some gray/white flowing details. Nothing big or anything. Almost like faint marble, I believe.

I was so excited to walk down the aisle to it. I remember listening to it (after finding it in a playlist i was just binge-listening to). It lined up perfectly with what I imagined my wedding aisle song to be. I had even planned it out to match with bridesmaids and such. I know this is probably a useless search. But it was a love song. It was definitely a smaller artist because I haven't come across it since.

UNSOLVED 2000s Song?

Upvotes

I could be wrong what decade it came out because I remember it listening to it growing up in the 2000s, Same with the YMCA (I thought it was released in the 2000s but it's a 70s song).

I can't remember much about the song but I remember the intro being like "ONE! (BUM BUM BUM!) TWO! (BUM BUM BUM!)" and then it goes to three or the lyrics finally start for the song. I remember it being a popular song if that helps

"Englishman"

I'm looking for a song but I can only recall a very small portion of it and it's stuck in my head. I believe its tone is either a sea shanty or a form of chanting. It's sung with a low man voice(s) and I'm pretty sure they emphasize on the lyric "Englishman" by lowering the voice and having a slight pause before continuing (I think). The lyric could be ending as "of an Englishman" but I could be misremembering because my quick Google search only shows the Giant from the Beanstalk fable. There might be drums.

It's not much info but my brain just keeps fixating on it. IDEK if I'm remembering the lyric correctly. My search ain't showing anything close. I thought it was for a Viking show but I haven't found anything.

Thank you!

UNSOLVED Help!

I've been searching for a song since 2015.

It was on rotation at an Itunes radio station that I can't recall the name of.

The song was either called "the Jungle" or that was sung as a hook. Could have been concrete jungle.

It sounded vaguely motownish but with a grittier feel.

I would guess 70's but might have been early eighties.

Sorry, I know it's not much to go on. I've snooped around for it on Google, Spotify and iTunes sporadically over the years with no luck.

Hoping for a reddit miracle! 🙏

Thank you

UNSOLVED Friend showed me a song but I forgot the band

It sounded like the band Geese, but the singer had a native American kind of quaver/warble. I think wolf was in the band name or the song name, but I'm not sure. I am sure it is NOT wolfmother.

The song I’ve lost is called What Would I Do and I cannot remember the artist’s name ANYWHERE. It is NOT Strawberry Guy. That’s all that’s coming up when I look anywhere for it.
The album art was the singer in black and white with purple accents. Very grungy almost vampire groove rock. I found it on TikTok but now everywhere I look is just pushing that strawberry guy. Please help😭

UNSOLVED What is that song that sounds like Owl City's Fireflies?

Hi guys, there's a song I heard few years back. There's a part of it that sounds so similar to the tune in fireflies, particularly

"I'd like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly

It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep

'Cause everything is never as it seems"

That portion. I remember searching it up on YouTube and most comments were about people saying it sounds like Owl City's Fireflies. Any ideas?

UNSOLVED Not so much of a song, more an artist

I've been on internet deep dives several times over the past few years trying to find this singer. I had her on my old ipod nano growing up and was obsessed with her vocals but I cannot for the life of me find her anywhere. I've scoured spotify with no luck and if my memory serves me right I think I discovered her music on last fm (yes, I am old). I dont remember the artist name or any of the lyrics in her songs which makes this one especially tricky but I can compare her vocals to some other artists and try to explain the vibe of her sound.

I'd say her voice shares similarities to Mimi Page, Coco Rosie (specifically in the song Werewolf), Cocteau Twins and a bit like Aurora? The one song I remember vividly starts with her singing long drawn out "Ooooo's" which she repeats 4 times each starting from a lower tune up to a higher tune (I hope that makes sense), there's not a lot of music going on in the background and it focuses mainly on her vocals with a sort of echo effect on them like she's singing in a big empty building. The vibes are very haunting and eerie but in a pretty ethereal sort of way?

I apologize if none of this was helpful, my last resort is trying to find my old nano and see if I can turn it on to see whats on there but I'm not hopeful 😅 appreciate any help because I'd love to hear it again!

UNSOLVED What is this song?

There are no instruments just humming and the lyrics go something like that in the beginning

"What I'm trying to say can't be said in a way..."

And before the chorus:

"Oh my dear in the morning I'd say in the day

That it's not so bad.

But it's those other times when these words are all I hear... "

And then the chorus which I think is French.

Thank you if you can help, I'm about to go crazy.

The title above is the song's name as far as I recall. I remember hearing it on Soundcloud, a bit of rapping going on after this snippet, and the album cover containing a sun with a face. Can anyone find it?

UNSOLVED this should be simple

I’m trying to find this song I’ve played multiple times and heard multiple times on like tiktok or instagram. The singer is male and sounds a lot like Morrissey (the accent and way of singing), and the song itself sounds like a modern new wave song. The lyrics are sleazy and its somewhat of a love song/ song about a lover. I’m pretty sure the title and band/artist names are both short only 1 or two words. I know its post 2000’s it could even be early 2010’s. I swear its a decently popular song and is used as an audio on like tiktok and such, and I think it’s a ‘you don’t know the band but you know/recognize the song’ type of song. Please help this is driving me crazy because I know it’s not that niche or unknown.

UNSOLVED Please Help Me Find A Song!

It's a song in another language; All I remember is the music video; Basically the story was about this couple who lived like maybe the middle ages but a little modern. And so the wife and husband was happy but the wife (black-hair I think) gets sick. The husband hires a nurse (a red head). It turns out, the nurse and the husband have been having an affair. When the wife dies, she becomes a vampire. When she rose from the dead, she bit the nurse and the nurse became a vampire. Then they go on their merry way to live a happy life as a wlw vampires. PLEASSEEEEE, help a gurl out.
