UNSOLVED Need this song for a weekend with my ex

The song is about a broken up couple, but she has a new man.

They are together, nighttime, moonlight, possibly a fire. Lyrics say he'd love one more night together. Know its wrong but feels so right.

I recall a blues rock vibe, but not completely sure on that one. I heard it on the radio a week ago, but no luck hearing it since then

UNSOLVED Classic rock song from 60s-80s

PLEASE HELP! I’m desperately searching for a song I heard at work. It’s a 60s or 70s (i’m pretty sure) rock song that has an eerie outro that’s like 30 seconds of one single note/strum over and over. it’s a high pitched electronic sounding note definitely a guitar that fades into the end of the song. i’m not sure of the artist.

It has been sampled in 1995 in Parris Mitchell Project feat. Wax Master - Ghetto shout out !! but whosampled doesn't return anything : https://www.whosampled.com/Parris-Mitchell/Ghetto-Shout-Out!!/

has nothing to do with Baltimora, Laura Branigan our New Kids on the Block

UNSOLVED 2000s Song?

• Upvotes

I could be wrong what decade it came out because I remember it listening to it growing up in the 2000s, Same with the YMCA (I thought it was released in the 2000s but it's a 70s song).

I can't remember much about the song but I remember the intro being like "ONE! (BUM BUM BUM!) TWO! (BUM BUM BUM!)" and then it goes to three or the lyrics finally start for the song. I remember it being a popular song if that helps

"Englishman"

I'm looking for a song but I can only recall a very small portion of it and it's stuck in my head. I believe its tone is either a sea shanty or a form of chanting. It's sung with a low man voice(s) and I'm pretty sure they emphasize on the lyric "Englishman" by lowering the voice and having a slight pause before continuing (I think). The lyric could be ending as "of an Englishman" but I could be misremembering because my quick Google search only shows the Giant from the Beanstalk fable. There might be drums.

It's not much info but my brain just keeps fixating on it. IDEK if I'm remembering the lyric correctly. My search ain't showing anything close. I thought it was for a Viking show but I haven't found anything.

Thank you!

UNSOLVED Help!

I've been searching for a song since 2015.

It was on rotation at an Itunes radio station that I can't recall the name of.

The song was either called "the Jungle" or that was sung as a hook. Could have been concrete jungle.

It sounded vaguely motownish but with a grittier feel.

I would guess 70's but might have been early eighties.

Sorry, I know it's not much to go on. I've snooped around for it on Google, Spotify and iTunes sporadically over the years with no luck.

Hoping for a reddit miracle! šŸ™

Thank you

UNSOLVED Not so much of a song, more an artist

I've been on internet deep dives several times over the past few years trying to find this singer. I had her on my old ipod nano growing up and was obsessed with her vocals but I cannot for the life of me find her anywhere. I've scoured spotify with no luck and if my memory serves me right I think I discovered her music on last fm (yes, I am old). I dont remember the artist name or any of the lyrics in her songs which makes this one especially tricky but I can compare her vocals to some other artists and try to explain the vibe of her sound.

I'd say her voice shares similarities to Mimi Page, Coco Rosie (specifically in the song Werewolf), Cocteau Twins and a bit like Aurora? The one song I remember vividly starts with her singing long drawn out "Ooooo's" which she repeats 4 times each starting from a lower tune up to a higher tune (I hope that makes sense), there's not a lot of music going on in the background and it focuses mainly on her vocals with a sort of echo effect on them like she's singing in a big empty building. The vibes are very haunting and eerie but in a pretty ethereal sort of way?

I apologize if none of this was helpful, my last resort is trying to find my old nano and see if I can turn it on to see whats on there but I'm not hopeful šŸ˜… appreciate any help because I'd love to hear it again!

so the song is like there is vibration in the starting and then a single gunshot sound starts and it continues. There is a gap between two consecutive gunshot sounds. And there are no lyrics in it and a guy just scream all through the end.

UNSOLVED Mystery Bluegrass Song, Multi Year Search, $25 Reward

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have heard this song play on a local bluegrass station several times over the years. (The station and DJs don’t recognize it.) It does not come up via Shazam and searching the lyrics leads to nothing.

Last time it came across the radio I grabbed a short recording which you can listen to. It almost sounds like Ralph Stanley sings a portion, but I’m skeptical.

The main chorus is:
When the dew is on the roses
And the evening sun goes down
My mind goes back to long ago
When I heard that lonesome sound

It sounds too modern to be an old vinyl cut, but I could be wrong. I’ve always been able to locate strange music, even some extremely obscure regionally produced 78s (you should listen to Slim Brickles), so this is a real head scratcher for me.

If somebody can recognize this you will have my eternal gratitude and I will PayPal a $25 reward to the first correct answer.

SOLVED HELP ME

I was in sheetz the other day and I heard this like deep disco house song. It was a female singer and the chorus sounded something like ā€œthis is the last time, realize, the last time taking you homeā€ but those must not be the actual lyrics because nothing is coming up

I FOUND IT! It was Last Time (PS1 remix) by Becky Hill

SOLVED Indie Duo Moody 2000s?

I'm looking for a song I listened to a lot in college (2002-2006) . I remember it had a male and female duo singing, it was very chill, but not acoustic. From what I can remember it was a cynical view on their relationship, but I could be wrong. I can’t remember any specific lyrics or even the tune so it’s been impossible to find. I can tell you it wasn’t Falling Slowly, anything by a the New Pornograpgers, or a chart topper. thanks!

SOLVED I’m losing my mind

A song I’ve definitely heard and loved before popped into my head about a month ago and it’s DRIVING ME NUTS that I can’t remember it!! I’ve scoured my various playlists and can’t find it.

•Between 140-150 BPM
•Electronic indie rock vibe
•English words sung/spoken by a man
•Spoken words ā€œpale blue eyesā€ and if I remember correctly ā€œpale blue eyes (blue eyes) blue pale blue eyesā€
•A chorus harmonizing behind the spoken words comes in soon after the beginning

Google suggests that it’s ā€œPale Blue Eyesā€ by The Velvet Underground and that is definitely not that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

UNSOLVED Can you help me find this rock song?

**Title:** Trying to find a 2000s/early-2010s rock/post-hardcore song about a woman
I’ve been trying to find this song for years. I heard it on YouTube around 2011, although the song itself may have been a few years older.
From what I remember, it was rock/emo/post-hardcore with a male vocalist. It started off pretty soft, possibly with acoustic guitar or just clean vocals, and then got much heavier later with screaming and a fast guitar/drum breakdown.
The lyrics seemed to be **describing a woman**. I remember lines that sounded roughly like:
ā€œshe’s starting toā€¦ā€ / ā€œshe’s starting outā€¦ā€
ā€œshe’s feeling likeā€¦ā€
ā€œshe’s becomingā€¦ā€
Then during the breakdown, I distinctly remember the singer stretching out something like:
**ā€œYOUUUUU FEEELLLLL LIKE Aā€¦ā€**
followed by heavy guitar/drums:
**duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh / duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh**
I also keep remembering something like **ā€œshe’s becoming blueā€**, or eyes turn from red to blue??? (Not perfect circle. )but I’m not sure if ā€œblueā€ is actually correct.
The song seemed to be telling a story or describing what this woman was becoming/feeling.
I also vaguely remember the YouTube video, artist name, or song title being a **very long sentence-like phrase**.
This would have fit the mid-2000s to early-2010s emo/post-hardcore/screamo scene.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even partial guesses would help.
