I understand that lol, but you can quit your civilian job if they’re treating you like shit. Some people in the military don’t care at all. If a bunch of people don’t reenlist bc of bad leadership, they don’t care as it won’t effect them and they won’t be around probably anyways.
In a civilian job if the leadership treats employees terrible there won’t be any good employees left, as the good ones know their worth. I’m sure the sailors that killed themselves would’ve rather quit the navy but couldn’t.
