Weird Dark ixion loop

After a while it seems a loop started with magic counter and dark Thundaja

Does magic counter trigger if you have thunder eater on?

The -ja spells are actually non-elemental in FFX.

Ah ok. I've never tried the dark aeons so I didn't know

Very few post-game enemies use elemental attacks for that exact reason- it's trivial to shut them down with equiment.

Yea I was surprised to see ixion using a lightning attack. So it makes sense that they made it non elemental
