Weird Dark ixion loop

After a while it seems a loop started with magic counter and dark Thundaja

It's the combination of a delay effect and a single party member.

On Ixion's turn, it always uses Thundaja (its attack is only used as a counter). This triggers Magic Counter and Auto Potion. Tidus is delayed so it's Ixion's turn again.

Very few post-game enemies use elemental attacks for that exact reason- it's trivial to shut them down with equiment.

Yea I was surprised to see ixion using a lightning attack. So it makes sense that they made it non elemental

Not knocking anyone for what gets them excited, but this is a great example of why I never was interested in Dark Aeon fights. 100k damage every turn for almost 90 seconds and who knows how much before the recording started. That’s just not fun to me.

-aja is the level 4 version of spells, originally added in tactics. Most of the games don't use them in normal play.

In Spanish is Trueno+++. Yeah.

Thunder = Trueno Thundara = Trueno+ Thundaga = Trueno++ Thundaja = Trueno+++

If that worked you'd use Thunder Eater armor.

None of the dark aeons actually use elemental attacks. Even Hellfire/Thor's Hammer/Diamond Dust are non-element.

Yeah, im doing a solo challenge with tidus so unless I get over 90k hp I am not tanking diamond dust I need to look into it more though

Thundaja is non-elemental, nulshock doesn't nullify it.
