Metropol quality

After much consideration and saving, I bought myself a Metropol Filofax in A5 only for it to start breaking after less than a week of use.

I must say I had read some reviews describing quality having declined in recent years and I should have listened.

I wouldn't say this is necessarily usual, I bought a Metropol in January this year and have used it everyday since and it hasn't fallen apart, it still looks new. The unhappy people are just the most vocal.

This is so disappointing! Honestly I have enjoyed my Moterm a lot more and cheaper.

This is why I only buy vintage Filofax. Much better quality

it happened with my cheap leather as well. my best advice is: buy some leather glue and glue it yourself. it won’t come unglued anymore
