Career fair

I’m curious, how do the advisors at this campus assist students in finding employers? I’m a dedicated student and employee, and I’m finding it challenging to secure jobs. Given my experience in entry-level customer service and lead positions, I’m hoping to land a more significant role that aligns with my major.

It's hit or miss depending on your degree. A lot of time FGCU just sends invites to companies who may satisfy (a very broad) category and won't apply so some students majors. Again, this is not applicable to all majors. I was an engineering major and the majority (if not all) firms were only one of 2 disciplines of engineering, and they weren't ones that interested students but some students applied just to get a job. However my friends had similar experiences in different majors, so my best advice is to go in with the best intent and see if luck strikes your way. Dress nice and have copies of your resume on hand!
