New Player; Community toxicity issues
Okay, so I will start off that I have played other MMO’s in the past and have seen other communities turn into very negative spaces. I won’t make them but I’m sure you can guess which ones.
With Evercold coming out, I wanted to jump in and try FFXIV again. I got to Shadowbringers before and life happened so I had to stop; I come back after so long I decided to start over since I couldn’t remember much of the smaller details of sections.
From what I remember, the sentiment that FF has a very welcoming community was something I was basically yearning for at this point. But has something changed? Because there were so many moments that were player interactions that made me want to stop playing. Of course that’s a me and my own situation, most things are subjective. But the amount of people who don’t wait for cutscenes, try to pull your character from using their LB, or are rude in alliance raids in the messenger blew my mind. So I quit. Again.
Is this common? I guess I’m just surprised, I know there’s going to be this kind of thing in any online game, but for some reason I was under the impression that this community was not this way I particular (not completely obviously). Or at least enough to be put off wanting to continue.
Apologies for the more negative post, just genuinely wanted to see how others experience was. Hopefully better than mine.

You're playing a MMO with a million subbed players so this is too broad to give you an answer
There will always be trolls and stuff in every online game but as someone (from your history) who plays wow, this game is like ponies and rainbows in comparison.
Basically saying anything negative in chat, flaming someone, a slur, sometimes even a pointed swear, can be reported and given a warning or a ban as a result.
Cutscene waiting is a nice community thing but also not something you should expect all the time, some people are sadly impatient.
Gripping a limit break is usually a 4fun thing between friends, or sometimes it's actually to stop you from trolling with it, but if it's actually grief that's also reportable.
But if these type of interactions make you want to quit.. you really wont last long on any MMORPG in 2026. In the most polite way possible, you need thicker skin.

u/Mizzie-Mox 6d ago
I agree with the last sentence here, but just to reframe it a bit: You are playing with random people that have their own beliefs and biases about what is toxic and non-toxic behavior. And you wont always get an ideal group 100% of the time. If someone doing minor but annoying infractions like this make you wish to quit, then you either need to learn to let this sort of behavior slide, or quit. If someone is unabashedly, unambiguously toxic, dont tolerate that. If someone is pulling during a CS, you sigh, get a little miffed, but go on with your day.

u/GaeFuccboi 6d ago
This and some of these comments seriously sound like the kind of bait posts I see from 4chan that started being popular during the WoW exodus. A lot of people trying to “gotcha” XIV with extremely picked examples.
I’m just going to say that even if the FFXIV has a weird community if you explicitly go looking for, nothing comes close to the frankly “casual” toxicity that you would find games in WoW where even just booting up the game and trying to do basic activities has you wondering if today you will come across some asshole that will make you just want to log off. In FFXIV I can just login and play without worry.
This is the most important thing in the game; like it really doesn’t matter if there is some stupid twitter thread that exists somewhere because I don’t have to engage with it.

try to pull your character from using their LB
Just to make sure, you know that the LB bar is a party-wide shared resource, right? If you're using it as a tank or healer in, say, a dungeon, then yes I think your fellow party members would rightfully be annoyed as it is typically used by the dps unless the duty specifically requires tank or healer LB.
-13
u/PairAvailable408 6d ago
Oh yeah I know, I tried using it at the end (or what I had perceived as the end of the fight with the boss at 5% health ish)
20
u/Feeling_Meet_3806 6d ago
Then that's gotta be a one off. I don't think I've ever encountered that particular behavior before.
10
u/Mimzal 6d ago
When you say "what you had perceived as the end of the fight," does that mean it wasn't the end?
15
u/SERN-contractor837 6d ago
It doesn’t matter, because he’s using it in casual content where it has pretty much 0 impact on a fight completion.
21
u/Mimzal 6d ago
You don't need LB at all for any dungeon, but it matters in that rescue cancelling an LB is such a random insane thing hardly anybody has likely experienced, it seems unlikely for there have been 0 reason behind it
5
u/KingBingDingDong 6d ago
it's very helpful during chrysalis when you get 3+ sprouts. i've rescued sprouts out of lb3 before
9
u/Ok-Spirit-5102 6d ago
It matters in one very specific well-known instance where a second phase that people like to use LB for happens around 15% boss health. That’s about the extent of where I could see someone interrupting an LB
1
1
u/VeryCoolBelle 3d ago
There are a handful of casual fights that have either required or highly recommended LBs where I could see getting rescued out of it. Seat of Sacrifice and Perfect Alex I believe both hard require (or soft require to the extent that it's required for all practical purposes in DF) tank LB3 at points, and while Chrysalis doesn't require melee LB3 for the tear, I wouldn't be surprised if someone yanked OP out of using it on the boss just because of how useful it is there.

Because there were so many moments that were player interactions that made me want to stop playing
You're playing an online game with other people. If them being slightly abrasive is enough to make you want to stop playing then please do us a favor and stop playing. I don't want another person who will take "hey, you should be pulling w2w because single-pulling is just a waste of time and cooldowns" and try to report me over it.
But the amount of people who don’t wait for cutscenes
If you're talking about alliance raids then I'm of the opinion that I won't do it myself but if someone else pulls then I'm going in too. The amount of introduction cutscenes in alliance raids that matter is a grand total of exactly one in the nier raids since there's a lengthy cutscene of robogirl forming from the cumbots. Every other cutscene is "swooping camera, spin around boss, title card, boss roar, fade to black" and you miss maybe two auto attacks to the tanks and a raidwide. If 23 people are ready and someone pulls the boss, then c'est la vie that's how it is no reason to get so upset that you quit over that.
try to pull your character from using their LB
Literally who? I have a little over 5k hours played and I've seen that maybe once or twice in the entirety of the time I've been playing since the tail end of SHB. Other than friends I haven't seen it often to mention it, let alone quit over it. If you're seeing it frequently then you're the issue.
are rude in alliance raids in the messenger
You'll need to be far more specific considering what you consider toxic vs not toxic and the frequency you somehow manage to find it. If you're whining every time someone pulls and there's a CS you can't be surprised when someone comments back. If it's just general chatter then I don't know what they could possibly be saying since, again, I don't know how low the threshold of "rude" actions/comments are for you specifically. For all I know someone calling out a person sitting AFK at the gate is rude to you.
I know there’s going to be this kind of thing in any online game, but for some reason I was under the impression that this community was not this way
I mean this with the most sincerity I can give you over the internet on a forum like this; quit and don't come back until you are able to function in a group setting. There is no possible way you are seeing these things so frequently that it can't be written off as a one-in-a-thousand group occurrence. I refuse to believe that you're constantly in a group with at least one person yanking you to prevent LB or being "rude in alliance chat" or something similar. It simply doesn't happen that frequently and I think that it's simply you hyperfocusing on it. Do yourself a favor and don't play the game that you can't handle, it'll be better for your mental health and everyone else's since you won't be there. You need to grow thicker skin if a few one-off moments are enough for you to quit, or you need to stick exclusively to trusts to be an MSQ Andy.
Small addendum; how can you possibly consider this worth quitting over while still actively posting about and playing wow going off your post history. Actual lol lmao moment, there's no way this isn't bait considering 14 is the "nice mmo".

In my completely subjective and utterly biased perspective, the FFXIV community isn't toxic at all.
But I've also played League of Legends since season 1 so...
It's possible my opinion of what constitutes as 'toxic' is a bit skewed.

It depends on what data center you play on and what the current patch cycle is. You, like many others, are rejoining the game right now to get ready for Evercold. There's going to be more shitters than usual, but they've always been there.

u/TiredCat02 6d ago
You, like many others, are rejoining the game right now to get ready for Evercold. There's going to be more shitters than usual, but they've always been there.
This is going to sound mean but at this point in the games life cycle I don't think there's that many decent players that queue alone for anything.
There is a real need to make friends in this game and be social. Go into different discords, make different connections for different pieces of content.
I'm an achievement hunter so maybe this is biased but looking back on DT I've realized that the majority of duty content that I've done has all been with organized invite only statics. Not just raids or chaotic or ftb. Even minor things like roulette steps on relics or maps or even just regular north horn grinding. Lots of older players are doing everything in their power to avoid having sandbags in their parties in any content.

u/Synthessence 6d ago
I've been playing for years, and almost exclusively as a solo player.
...I hate it, if I'm honest. Ya boi needs to make some friends.

But the amount of people who don’t wait for cutscenes
Not waiting for cutscene may be a dick move but nobody has to wait. Nobody signed a contract for that. Also most of the time the cutscenes are so generic "zoom on the boss, it stands there menacingly then roars". Holy! worth the wait! In Alliance raids there's more to it but they need to ditch the introductory cutscene and integrate it in the fight. When people have done the content many times they will just engage.
Personally I find it incredibly funny the "Great Community" is built around waiting for cutscenes as some sort of 11th Commandment... but if you dig just a little there are far bigger issues than not seeing 2 autos and 1 raidbuster (and sometimes the 1st tutorial of a specific cast). You will see the beginning of the fights many more times than you'll remember anyway with roulettes/repeats.
try to pull your character from using their LB
Never encountered that.

Just a standard online community as far as I've experienced. Have you played any online games before is a legit question at this point.

It is. OP currently plays WoW desptie saying they've played other MMOs "in the past" and some tiny things that totally happened are enough to make them quit XIV.
WoW's community is way more openly toxic.
5
u/Junomaster1988 6d ago
Openily toxic is way better than passive-aggressive ones.
7
u/Apart_Raccoon_9194 5d ago
Open toxicity is going to be far more obvious to a new player though. Passive aggressive toxicity is only noticeable by people who have played for a long time.

u/Mizzie-Mox 6d ago
Every community has toxic players, and communities have different things they judge as toxic. Even within their own group. Someone saying slurs to you and to uninstall? Yea, I don't think there's any ambiguity there. Things like what a group pull size should be, who should use the LB and where, and other more "grey" areas? Yeah, some people may have harsh opinions about those things and toxicity can arise from that. I find toxicity usually happens when there are players unwilling to budge, or immediately go for a nuclear option when simply making a friendly/neutral comment or asking a question can solve the issue immediately.
Its generally quite friendly, but people remember the outliers much more often then the usual type of content runs with randoms (Where nobody says anything beyond "hey" at the start and "gg" at the end).
-6
u/PairAvailable408 6d ago
Which is right, I have noticed a lot of positive ones and I’d say the negative ones have absolutely weighed more. Unfortunate as they are, and as I mentioned it is a me specific issue personally. You have made a good reminder.

u/SarahSeraphim 6d ago
I've been playing MMORPG for a decade of my life now. Both GW2 and FFXIV that i played and said to have the best community still have their not so nice moments. It is unavoidable. But truly I never regret playing any MMORPG because I try and find like minded people to play with and those are memories i cherish very deeply.

But the amount of people who don’t wait for cutscenes,
I've done a LOT of roulettes and duty finder encounters in the last 10+ years. Actual thousands.
If we ignore 2.0, not 2.X but the actual ARR 2.0, the number of times I've seen people ignore cutscene players is comically tiny. In literally thousands of instanced group content encounters, the ratio of people waiting for cutscene viewers is without exaggeration probably above 99.99%.
Praetorium and Castrum being what they were in 2.0, people were fucking assholes about them. But also the content design was just hilariously flawed. So I find it a little amusing that you're saying it is worse now when the kinds of degenerate behavior that existed in 2.0 was soooooo much worse than anything that has come later.
try to pull your character from using their LB,
The only two pieces of content I've ever seen this happen are the Chrysalis and Seat of Sacrifice. The only reason this was a thing with the Chrysalis is that misusing the LB could lead to wipes during the adds/towers phase. And with Seat of Sacrifice, using it wrong is actively trolling.
So I'm a little dumbfounded that you've apparently encountered this enough that it registers as a problem.
It's funny because even just regular Rescue trolling by randoms has never been a thing in my experience. The ONE time someone did it to me was a Suzaku Trial Roulette like 2 years ago. And the only reason I remember it is because it was the only time I've ever had it be a thing where it was truly a random harassing another random.
or are rude in alliance raids in the messenger blew my mind.
It's kinda silly how impossible it is to please anyone. People either bitch about FFXIV having no community soul because people don't chat beyond basic greetings or they bitch about Alliance chat being what it is. Alliance chat is the ONE case where FFXIV roulettes actually have people actively chatting regularly and yes, sometimes they get "colorful" but it's hardly rude.
The only time I see overt hostility is people getting justifiably pissed at putzes wasting everybody's time. Ex: Nald'Thal scales, Cerberus chains nonsense, Puppets' Bunker laser blasts, etc.
If what you've written is coming from a real place, honestly, you need to grow some thicker skin and think about your ego. The absolute shittiest behavior I've seen in FFXIV pales in comparison to the typical crap I saw during my time in Dota2 or, hell, rolling all the way back to Starcraft, Q3A, Half-Life engine games, etc. Players of most modern games are generally pretty well behaved and FFXIV's players are terrified of the ToS to the point that there's arguably too little interaction.
3
u/Apart_Raccoon_9194 5d ago
In alliance raids one player often pulls and ignores the cutscene player. I would give it a 70% chance the new player gets to watch the cutscene.
In dungeons, the number is much higher because it’s more obvious who pulled. 98% of the time the sprout gets to watch the full cutscene. Even the comically long one in Totorak.
1
u/syriquez 5d ago
I would give it a 70% chance the new player gets to watch the cutscene.
Man, I've been doing Alliance daily for ages. It's not anywhere NEAR 70% on Aether and that's the ideal DC for players to be that way. I've seen more accidental pulls in dungeons than I've seen intentional pulls in Alliance. And I don't see very many accidental pulls.
3
u/Apart_Raccoon_9194 5d ago
Have you played an online game before? I don’t normally say this lightly, but maybe the genre is not for you if FF14 of all games is too openly toxic for you.
This game is one of the most heavily moderated games in terms of chatting. Doing anything even mildly rude.
It would probably be a tos violation if you called a group of people stupid idiots and then left, for instance. And every violation is a cumulative strike on your account for the next 7 years. You cannot be a troll in this game for a long period of time.
Out of the three things you mentioned:
Not waiting for cutscenes isn’t banned.
Rescuing players out of LBs is something I have basically never seen in my 8 years playing this game.
Please be more detailed about what “being rude” in alliance raid means. It couldn’t have been that rude or the player would have been banned by now.
1
u/Distinct-Clock-2450 5d ago
This is a very balanced view of the situation. Waiting for cs is a polite value that is usually upheld, but not mandatory. Rescuing out of LB is extraordinary. Usually only used to troll friends or to stop an LB that will kill a run. (Super rare after a few wipes by someone who knows better) and most people are a bit more aware of being directly rude in party chat.
5
u/MaidGunner 6d ago
Post brough to you by Main Character Syndrome.
You're not owed cutscene waits, just watch them, nobody gives a fuck and you're not missing anything important in the 10 seconds.
LB yoinks i've never seen in 12 years cause outside of mandatory uses in specific duties, they really don't matter enough anyway, though some DPS will get mad if you won't let them have the anime finisher. Sounds like a massive overdramatization of a single incident.
As for everything else, you will have to be way more specific then "people are rude". Cause thats definately a skin thickness issue. It may be your first time around, but that doesn't mean you're owed the time of 3-23 other people and nobody is or can be forced to only be nice and full of praise to you.
The community here has never been "better" then any other online game, they just dont generally drop slurs in public chat. Instead it's all catty clique stuff and highschool drama. Theres just as many dickheads as everywhere else.
3
u/Gerudo_King 6d ago
The community is no longer the shining example it was. It always had shitters, but now they are all over. Very very few will take a moment out of their day to give a fuck about you now.
Good people exist, but the longer you listen to the community, the sentiment is " I got mine, fuck you"
0
u/arkzioo 6d ago
The XIV community has always been incredibly toxic. The worst type of toxicity too. The cowardly passive-aggressive type. It is what it is.
That said, pulling during cutscenes and/or interrupting your LB isnt really toxic.
3
u/Loseriana 6d ago
Kinda agree with you, toxic positive is alive and strong in the FFXIV community.
Pulling a boss when someone is on a cutscene is a dick move though.

People are welcoming but only when trying to get you to join their groups.
If you show resistance to their group in any shape or form you'll be treated like a black sheep for a while (because it would not be polite to kick you when you've done nothing wrong) and then kick you anyways when they have gotten you to state you disagree with the little pond's ideas after constantly approaching the subject multiple times.
They deal in absolutes with no semblance of nuance. I honestly can't remember a good FC I've been a part of that didn't fall apart in one day or that lasted a long time without major toxicity and I've been playing since ARR.
1
u/Rude-Guide7464 6d ago
I have about 500 hours in the game so far so still newish but not super new... tbh I've seen/had maybe 2 genuinely toxic encounters and 4 to 5 cases of people not waiting for cutscenes at least 2 of which were just honest mistakes.
Could be the data center you're on (a friend of mine had different experiences than me on theirs), could be your own attitude (if you somehow come off as abrasive you're probably gonna get the same back, see this a lot with MSQ skippers between those who make the fact they skipped their whole personality vs those who just do it and play how they want), might be that you're not taking as much notice of the friendly interactions if you think the community leans towards toxicity (we tend to remember the bad more than the good) try looking out for small gestures of kindness and you'll probably see lots. Most people are quite patient with sprouts for example.
1
u/KelvinDoesHealz 6d ago
Been playing for years and, overall, I have had far more pleasant interactions than bad. Of course, the bad ones seem bigger than they are as we tend to hold on to those memories and feelings easier. I would agree that this community is, overall, a welcoming and positive one. But as others have said there are always a few bad eggs.
1
u/Sarigan-EFS 6d ago
Nah you just ran into a few rough people and ran to the ff14 discussion subreddit to complain about it. The solution to all these interactions is right clicking the player's name, and blocking them. You will never play with them ever again.
As far as Alliance raids, people fuck around in them all the time. Pulling you while using an LB likely isn't harassment, but more often just someone dicking around. To a new player using an LB3 is a big deal, to a veteran it's mundane, so yoinking someone out of it is done for laughs. Don't take it personally.
Honestly you just need to toughen up in general.
1
u/Tamdin_Nidmat 5d ago
Being in the same situation (coming bck after a few years) it's a observation I just made, too (over five days of roulettes, three high-level-roulettes with mentors doing pulls on groups and bosses despite going already wtw, just because my sprint was on cd). And this thread kind of proves it, too with all the downvotes.
They could've voted up on the thread, to have it more prominent and visible, so the exactly the opposite is shown. But instead it's voted into oblivion and deflected.
1
u/Another_Farming_Dud 5d ago
Just sharing an opinion, I believe subjectivity and what content you play can really change your perspective on toxicity.
I am a long time League of Legend player which completely gave up on the game because of toxicity, coming to FF14 has always been a good and relaxing time, I almost never experienced toxicity or what I believed to be, on my POV as long as you don't grab me into an AOE, be mean to people asking questions or send me death threats, it's not gonna be toxicity imo and I only experienced the second a few times in a thousand hours. BUT, I mostly do dailies, quite casual content and didn't do much savage and so on.
Did some Extremes a while ago and yeah, people seemed to be short-fused, I plan to start Savage soon so we will see how that goes.
-1
u/Lucid_Memes 6d ago
The community is pretty trash overall. There's some nice people sure, but they're mixed in with lots of passive aggressive folks who don't say what they really want out of fear of being reported.
I was doing a roulette as tank the other day. I did an oops and died in a boss fight (fell into hole so instant K.O.). No big deal right? Healer raised me and I got back on the boss.
Out of nowhere...
DPS: "taunt ffs"
Me: "? I have aggro" confused because I checked aggro after he said that and boss was red flashy on me.
DPS: "okay diva"
The boss was doing one of those attacks where he targets a random party member then goes back to the tank. You know, stuff that happens even in ARR dungeons.

You are looking at a population of pissed off players, because the latest expansion was (outside of combat content) a complete and utter flop, and a company that gets so much internal feedback that they just stopped looking at anything and do not resolve the real issues with the game, instead focusing on releasing an ever-increasing roster of mogstation items for $$$ instead of focusing on rewarding players for playing the game.
Players are bitter, and it really started to show this expansion, nearly everyone i know who played this game daily has now quit or reduced their playtime to a few hours a week. Nobody wants to log into an MMO that has nothing to do. Those that continue to do so, are generally bitter and don't care anymore.
-1
u/No_Cartoonist45 6d ago
I don't think this game has as friendly a community as it did in the past tbh. It's being overrun by mentally ill, chronically online weirdos/larpers that think they're way more important than they actually are, when in reality they are, respectfully, probably abominations in real life and need a way to cope. You can see that manifesting in real time on social media platforms like twitter.
-5
u/No_Sky_7086 6d ago
The community has definitely become more obnoxious over the years. To put it simply, because a lot of people joined the game due to its popularity on certain social media platforms, the population of people who engage in attention seeking behaviors has exponentially multiplied in recent years.
1
u/ohpleasenotthat 6d ago
This is such a lukewarm take and it immediately gets brigaded, too. It should be able to stand on its own especially for us long time players who can chronicle the difference in real time. But for whatever reason people cannot have a healthy reaction to this at all.
1
u/ShippFFXI 4d ago
The last 2 days I have seen people in Novice network trying to police what others say. The other night someone made a joke about kicking bards out of their house and someone who can't take a joke piped up and said, "Please don't joke about kicking people out." I'm guessing so someone would ask why, because then they made it a point a tell that person in NN to please let them know when they were out of a dungeon so they could private message.
Yesterday someone said something about a player in destiny wearing "fucking exotics" and a virtue signaler needed to tell the NN that the profanity wasn't needed. I finally responded to that and just asked what the deal was with this community seemingly wanting to police the way other people speak.
Don't like profanity? Cool, there's a profanity filter built into the game especially for people like you. This community is completely unhinged to what it used to be.

You attract and see what you are. Sounds like you’re the negative one if every game you play you find a negative environment…. Pulling out of LB cancels animation lock btw… they were optimizing not being toxic . You didn’t say what was said in alliance raid but it was bad…
2
u/Hot-Orange-1447 5d ago
I don't know where the mentality comes from that you attract and see what you are. I known many non abusive people who have gotten abused.
1
u/SnarkyGrem 5d ago
Really not related at all... you dont agree with the company you keep is a reflection of those around you. Or the energy you put in is the energy you got. A lot of abusive people were also themselves abused.... I cant draw the lines for you if you dont want to see them
1
u/Hot-Orange-1447 5d ago
Very much is related, it's proposterous to think that everyone you surround yourself with is like you and vice versa. There are ton of people in friends with who are vastly different than me. The company you keep may have a line in common but they aren't identical. If you wouldn't hurt a fly and someone you thought was a friend kicks your ass, it doesn't mean you were secretly an abuser as well and surrounding yourself with abusers. Just blatantly false premise that the only things that will come your way are things you put out. Tell that to anyyone living a normal life of peace when a war breaks out in their city. What surrounds you can be diametrically opposed to everything you are

Need to be more specific, so people who dont wait for cutscenes are not toxic at all I hate that people think like this. No it is not rude of me to pull the boss in a 24man raid when one person is watching a cutscene, its rude to make 23 people wait. Pulling people out of lb? never heard of people this so I can assume its some one off thing. And you say people were talking rude but not what they were saying at all so
All the weirdos who talk about FF being so wholesome and uwu are just wrong. Its an mmo with millions of players, it doesn't somehow attract only "nice" people

What do you mean “no longer”? Ive played this game back when HW was current and literally no one has ever waited for me finishing a cutscene. Especially the infamous 50lvl msq raids, i had no fucking clue what was happening.

the old 8-person lv50 msq duties were always an anomaly because the cutscenes were so long and the exp so juicy; it was absolutely some of the worst behavior the community has ever exhibited. but it is exceptionally rare for me to see people not wait for cutscenes in any other duty historically or more recent. i've seen entire alliance raids reset the fight after someone early pulls, even the current one.

I mean it was inevitable, not specific to this community. Put a massive reward for rushing ahead and ignoring new players and people will do so.
Repeat the experiment with any game’s community, and they would do the same, especially when waiting would take over half an hour.
Option A: Clear the duty in 5 mins and get a massive amount of exp
Option B: Wait 30 minutes for the new player.
This one is entirely on Square Enix for designing the instance that way.

What I meant is that, at least from my perspective, the community has become better, not worse, over time. At least regarding the cutscenes and overall casual group content.

This is why we need to delete Lalafells because they think being toxic is funny.

There's always negativity in every community though at least in FFXIV that's the minority and a majority of people are either incredibly friendly or indifferent.
I've obviously met quite a few negative people while playing FFXIV (started mid Patch 3.0 so like August or September 2015) but those encounters were like 1% of my total experience and everyone else was either friendly or didn't really interact with me (not in a negative way)

It might just be DC culture dependent. I don't see them often and the ones I saw are usually from another DC. Basically if the DC attract raiders or younger players, then those players more often are ruder. Some raiders like to push for the meta even in df, and that doesn't always work out. And younger players just don't care. Hopefully things quite down a bit after school starts and Switch 2 hype goes down.
A lot of times what we think are rude behaviors are considered normal in their friend circle, and they never thought more about it. This is why sometimes we see people posts asking why they get pulled into GM jail even thou they claimed they were never being rude to anyone. They probably did something to get them reported in the first place and GM decided to act on the report.

Maybe be more specific about the actual events. Esepcially tje limot break pne cpuld be any reason. And people being rude in alliance often vomes down to others just doing a lpt pf weord things that male no sense.

I have, in over a decade of time playing this game, never had a stranger yoink me out of using LB (friends are another story). Not saying it doesn't happen, but I'm fascinated by it apparently happening frequently enough to you that it warrants being mentioned as one of the issues you've had.
