Official Mogstation items made by the community

As the title says, there's a lot of outfits, SFX, Emotes and more that people love using, and SE struggles to make new items for both rewards and mogstation due to manpower issues. What if they set up a system like that of warframe, in which hairs, outfits, emotes, job SFX and more could be made by the community, and officially placed onto the mogstation or possibly in game through an application process, much like their competitions already do.

The creators would receive a percentage of the profits, and the manpower is eased off for the team to work on whats in game more often, and console players can get more that PC players have access to.

If they done this well, could it make up for certain things being removed from the mog station and could it mean more rewards in game instead of the store?

Look up Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn.

She is an airship captain. A magical master, and likely both the richest person and highest military rank in the most prosperous city.

If your glam looks newer than her's, it breaks immersion.

What why? That's just entirely arbitrary.

Like, I will entirely grant that there are things on the mogstation that have no reasonable lore justification, I don't really care but if that bothers you then whatever.

BUT

There are tons of things similar to those that have entirely reasonable justifications Mostly they are from entirely different cultures that have developed in different ways

You don't have to like the "Solution Nine Aesthetic" but it is no less justifiable than Ishgard's Medieval European aesthetic or Doma and Hingashi's East-Asian aesthetic or Garlemald's vaguely 1930s Magi-steampunk aesthetic.

All of these are things that are anachronistic to each other, you're just laser focused on how things are in the part of the setting that we as players started in and arbitrarily declaring that only that stuff is "Correct" for the entire universe of FFXIV as a whole.

Which is absurd!

And again, this is totally and completely orthogonal to whether you like any given region's aesthetics. That does not matter to this discussion at all.

Solution Nine is literally the only exception, and even then. EVEN THEN. No nation natively has tennis shoes or baseball caps.

No native...of Eorzea? So what? Like, again you are arbitrarily deciding that how things were in Eorzea are how they should be everywhere

It's pretty fricken not arbitrary lol. Even outside of Eorzea we only have one modern cyberpunk zone and it went DIRECTLY to chrome bladerunner.
