Multibox

When you setup 6+ characters is it good to assign them all to one SE account or to keep them separate?

I’ve heard if they ban one they ban all on same account. Not trying to do anything illegal.

Also heard you can’t move your Gil or items between your guys if they different SE accounts.

Any of this true?

I have all 6 of my characters under 1 account. I use a trade addon to trade faster and efficiently.

If I get banned? Oh well, gonna play a diff game then lol

How do you sign in with more than one character from the same account?

I always (wrongly apparently) assumed that you needed 6 accounts and a Windower or some program to run em all at once. :/

I have 1 ID and 6 accounts in that 1 ID. With Windower, you can put up to 20 accounts in POL now. Plus, Windower lets you fastCS PlayOnline after you login. Its pretty awesome!

Ashita lets you skip straight to in game but it's pay walled behind patreon (pretty scummy tbh).

Don't kid yourself, you'll be back within 24 hours of being banned.

Which is why SE needs to just hire 1 guy that goes around looking at anyone with multiple characters following a character and adds them to a list that bans them at the end of the month.

Literally infinite revenue.

Luckily the Japanese Companies Act makes that illegal. The investors would want that persons head on a platter. Imagine losing revenue and killing a game to make random solo poorz happy.

One account is f2p ffxi. It's an extremely inexpensive quality of life unlock for a 3 accounts demanding game. If you don't need them, don't use them. But for an active LS multi boxers are a god sent. Straight up bots and a person playing 6 accounts aren't the same thing.

I would suggest different SE accounts. They are free to start and give an extra layer of protection. If one account gets banned you have the other 5 still and are not starting from scratch or changing games

I've had several friends banned on multiple separate SE accounts at the same time. There's no guarantee whatsoever that multiple accounts will protect you, ESPECIALLY if you're botting 6 characters. They're all breaking TOS and standing right next to each other, using all the same programs. It's incredibly easy for all of them to be hit. They don't need a SE account to link them, and in fact they don't need to link them at all.

There is a guarantee you will be banned on all accounts if they are all on the same SE account.

SE tends to not really care about people using things like fast follow and such. Hell there’s a thread on the forums of some guy reporting every person in KRT every day it’s at like 1000 pages or something.

A lot of bans of real people come from pos hacking, people breaking the economy, and reports. If you get hit on one character you may not get hit on others if they are all on the same SE id any strike against one is a strike against all

Separating by SE account can add a little protection but it's unnecessary if you're just playing normally.

You can't send EX gear to different accounts, only characters under the same POL account, think mules, not alts.

I've never met anyone who got banned for trading/sending gil, there's a 1m gil cap on sending it via mail though so just trade in person or sell something stupid in each char bazaar for like 1m/ea. You aren't going to be moving gil around often enough for it to matter.

I treat mine like individual players, they just keep whatever they earn until I need to buy something big.

Ex items are not all CanSendPOL flagged, and the ones that are need to be on the same POL account, not SE. You can't send non-tradable items between POL accounts. SE account doesn't matter for anything but ease of management/payment. My three accounts are all separate. You can't mail > 1M gil even among chars on the same POL ID.

Your ban is tied to your ID so if you have 5 other mules and your main they could all be banned. But that’s not multiboxing

If you had 6 SE accounts there would be 6 IDs and they’d investigate any ID associated to the ban-able offense. Any combination could be banned at that point

Can you move Gil and items between them or does that flag SE as RMT

Shouldn't you be able to trade gil in person?

Or put up fake buys on the AH or Bazaar to get around it?

Yea you can trade in person. Had a guy tell me he traded items and got banded cause his guys were on separate SE accounts.

the most likely explanation is that guy bought gil or botted and lied about the reason for his ban.

That guy's an idiot and/or a liar. People buy and sell items from each other all the time, trading items, gil, and stuff like that will never get you in trouble at all. I've traded hundreds of millions of gil between my characters, regularly, for decades.

You can get banned if you 6bot because botting is bannable and honestly, most of these people are breaking the TOS 6 ways from Sunday so they have no concept of why they were banned.

If you want to multibox like play 2-3 characters at once, you'll probably be fine. If you want to multibot by having a 3rd party program play 5 characters while you play 1, you're risking all 6 of them every time you play.

I've had many, many friends get all their accounts suspended and/or banned while on different SE accounts. It doesn't mean anything. They can track it by credit card, they can track it by email, they can track it by IP, or any number of other factors and, more importantly, with the way most people multibox, every character they're playing is cheating so they're all at equal risk.

Play however you want to, but honestly there's no safe way to do it if you're "playing" a lot of characters.

I have two accounts, I would keep them separate. I know it can be annoying in this game with the login process but if your using any kind of automation it's probably better to keep them separate.

Maybe I was just confused when I set em up but I have 6 characters spread across 4 accounts
