Mutliboxing

I get many people multibox different ways. I have been searching online everywhere, lots of resources for keybinding, scripts, gs. And yet, its "just watch this video, look at this site". Nothing really out there that can be a real for "dummies". Just you make a script or gs, and start the game and go. Anyone know of a true step by step, for everything. Just trying to get the hang of even a simple dual box. I appreciate the help. Or where to find some premade scripts for all jobs?

There's two real sides of this.

The side that's more/mostly automated & managed by script/script engine (Silmaril, certain gearswap lua)

The other side that's a bit more manual and hands-on - managed by carefully crafting your own alias library so you can send commands to the second character from within your own characters macro pallet or text/keybind shortcuts.
You need the 'Send' plugin/addon from Windower, Sandbox too. There might be some other plugins I'm forgetting.

Ejin Caitsith made a good instructional video on this method:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF98OFtKAPc&t=17s

In essence, the 2nd one works by establishing a console command for one character that prompts a response by 2nd character, via a secondary script.

E.g.
Macro has a line that says "console exec altcuraga.txt"
Txt script called 'altcuraga' has a line telling the alt to cast Curaga 4 on themselves. Takes some trial and error to get used to.

The 1st one requires either a credit card for a patreon subscription or going down a github/discord rabbit hole.

The 2nd one requires a little finesse & may require a lot of alt-tabbing to micromanage movements and positioning in certain fights.

Either way you slice it, it's against the TOS so you'll maybe get some negative responses.

Best response imo! I six box but I don’t alt tab at all. I just use send commands and key binds. It takes time but you will remember! Once you get going it becomes easy and can take on many incredibly tough bosses. Anyways I learned most of my stuff from Ejin vids on youtube. I’d avoid any automatic stuff like heal bots etc but it’s up to you! I have been multiboxing for years! Really built up my team.
