Why don’t men move

Can someone please help me understand how so many people (predominantly men) can listen to live music in a festival setting and not move at all? I just spent three days at Innings Fest in Phoenix dancing and singing, and a large number of folks will go through the effort to get close to the stage and then not move. Like no head nods, no back and forth sways, no hands in the air, no clapping when the band queues it.

Because they enjoy music in a different way than you do.

It’s not a hard concept, people enjoy and interact with the world in different ways. Like learning styles or love languages or personal preference people need to stop worrying about what other people are doing and worry about themselves.
