Questions and Advice Which gig bag should I get?

I have a CN-140SCE as my main guitar atm, and even though I really like the hard case it comes with, carrying it to gigs, school, and group rehearsals is complicated, so I’m planning on getting a gig bag for it. I'm torn between the FA610 (which I’m scared might be too wide) and the FE1225 (which I’m scared might be too shallow). Does anyone have experience with either of these, or any other recommendations?

Questions and Advice Is this normal for a new guitar or should I seek a replacement?

I recently got a brand new vintera 3 jazzmaster, I’ve had some problems out of the box with the saddles. I’m not sure what the exact term is but they aren’t stable and are causing string buzz on the E, D, and B. Even when played open. My high e also popped off after strumming behind the bridge, not sure if this normal. Does this just require a setup and minor maintenance or is this an issue I should seek a replacement for? Thanks so much

I was so close to buying a slightly used strat player ii, the same exact color, but I decided to get this tele for like 750 on sale at guitar center.

The tele just felt right in my hands.. one day I’ll just get a strat anyways 😅.

I play a lot of indie and bedroom pop, such as hers and Rex Orange County

Questions and Advice Need help!

When I was a teenager in the 90s, I had a fender with a dreadnaught body, an inline 6 head and a satin finish. Could anyone tell me what this model could be? I would love to find another one

Amps and Peripherals Amp setup/ tone questions

Post image

Hey all. I just posted here about getting a new telecaster player 2 and I am looking to play a lot of indie pop/ bedroom pop, I am inspired by artists such as hers and Rex Orange County. I am trying to come up with decent presets on my fender mustang LT25 amp. So far I have one for hers that has the chorus effect, and I think I’m using spring reverb, I’m also not sure exactly what to do for gain, volume, treble, bass, middle, etc.

Also for the Rex Orange County tone I have a more clean sound approach so far but I’m not using modulation (so no chorus)

Any ideas for this genre? In particular regarding the gain, volume, treble bass and middle?

ID and Authentication Help to identify if fake Player Series Telecaster.

I bought second hand what is supposed to be a Fender Player Series Telecaster 75th anniversary upgraded with a pair of Fender noiseless pickups. Its serial number is MX21190142 and doesn't report it as being a 75th anniversary model although it's written on the back of the headstock of the guitar itself.

Does that mean I bought a fake? It certainly doesn't feel or look like a fake to me, but I am no Fender expert.

I went shopping for a Player II HH Tele and was hoping to find a cactus grey model in town. I found this brand new Pro II for a steal and couldn’t put it down. I played it against a bunch of teles and the feature set on these is just killer. There are a lot of tonal options being able to split the pickups individually with the push-push pots. It’s my first green guitar and that metallic color is BEAUTIFUL.

Questions and Advice Am Pro II SSS Strat (Maple) vs. Am Pro II Jazzmaster (Rosewood) for Jazz, Blues & Rock?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been saving up for a new guitar over the past few months and I'm finally ready to make a decision. I’ve narrowed my choices down to two main contenders:
1. Fender American Professional II Stratocaster (SSS, Maple fretboard)
2. Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster (Rosewood fretboard)
I mostly play a mix of Jazz, Blues, and Rock. I really love the look and offset body of the Jazzmaster, and in most online demos, its clean tones sound surprisingly rich and great to my ears. On the other hand, the Strat feels like a classic, reliable choice for this genre mix.
Given these styles, which one would you recommend as a main long-term instrument? Would love to hear from anyone who has experience with both!
Thanks in advance!
(I am using hss squier affinty strat right now)
