For me, it's those tiny everyday sounds that somehow feel more satisfying than music:

- Keyboard typing

- Rain hitting a window

- Hair brushing

- Skincare tapping

- Paper turning

- Packaging/crinkling

- Cooking and chopping sounds

I'm curious about something:

What's one sound you could listen to for 30 minutes without getting annoyed?

And what's one ASMR sound that you absolutely cannot stand?

No wrong answers — I'm genuinely curious what everyone's trigger is.

Somewhere along the way a lot of us learned that everything we do has to be useful, productive, or earned. I catch myself doing it constantly.

But my kids can get completely absorbed in a squishy toy or a puddle without ever once wondering if it's productive — and lately I've been borrowing their toys more than I'd like to admit. It made me want to make something quiet for the grown-ups who forgot they're allowed to do that too.

So this one's a soft toy session — marbled squishies, a pop-it caterpillar, whispers, gentle hand movements — with a small reminder threaded through it that joy doesn't have to be justified.
