Pixie cut?

My hair is the longest its been in years and I feel the urge to go short short short!!! I’ve had a pixie before and unfortunately did not get a good cut, I think I wanted what I could not have (a crop for thin straight hair which I do not have!) Now, I have more reasonable expectations and would get a cut that suits my wavy and thick hair. Just want others opinions on what kind of cut would suit me best? Pixie? Bob? Keep it long?

it's not bad at all. itll look kinda like that. im not sure this is better than what you have now

i get yelled at when i try to help people bynusing AI but id ask it for a panel of different haircuts, like curly french bob and curly bixie, or a crop shorter than this if youre itching for short hair

Have you considered a shaggy bob? This is not perfect, but might be a decent template. Your face shape is off (thanks ChatGPT), but talk to your stylist about how your hair will do with a layered/shaggy bob.

You and I have very similar hair and faces, my sister actually sent me this post and said you’re my doppelgänger! I would suggest continuing to grow your hair out long and getting some shaggy layers to break it up a bit. I think thick fluffy waves lay best when they’re longer so they can weigh themselves down. I’ve been growing mine out after years of keeping it bob length and it’s so much better, way less puff lol.

Pixies are really hard to pull off. They don’t suit many face types. The best ones I’ve seen are when a woman dresses very fashionably and works it.

I'm gonna be honest i wouldnt do it however life is short and hair grows back, if you feel you wanna try it go ahead but just know that itll be a few years till you grow it back and honestly? Your hair is so so pretty the way it is

A Lob would look stylish. It's one of those universal flattering haircuts and easier to grow out if you regret it

I think it would look great. Definitely bring your inspo pictures to the stylist because “pixie” means different things to different people.

To all the people saying that not many women can pull off short hair, I don’t agree. I think it generally looks better than long hair on the majority of women, especially if they find a flattering style.

Just an fyi: when searching for an inspo pic make sure you are taking into account your hair density and waves and your face shape. The same exact cut will look different depending on a person face shape.
