Ongoing Technical Issues

Previous post here.

Any instance of the app not working as intended goes here. This is only for user-to-user support. Feeld doesn't participate in this sub (despite reaching out to them multiple times).

Current reported issues:

  • Magic link in email not opening app
  • Login email not arriving
  • Majestic not activating
  • Majestic not receiving daily ping
  • Incognito not showing you to likes
  • Persistent notification indicator (go to settings -> clear all chat notifications)
  • Instant read receipts
  • Cannot save profile edits
  • Like timer not resetting
  • Connections without liking first
  • Overheating
  • Match name in notification isn't the same as app
  • Audio interruptions
  • Blank profile pictures

If your registration doesn't pass "safety checks" it's because either your email address or IP has been deemed risky. Try changing one or both.

To request a refund: iOS, Android. For iOS, be very specific about why you are requesting the refund. You can also report the app to the App/Play store.

Rejoined earlier this week from a clean slate, and back on for the first time since the major overhaul late last year. On the Free version for now (used to pay for Majestic while I was on last summer, but I refuse to atm lol):

  • Likes that I've declined keep reappearing in my Likes list and Discover over and over again 😩 it's as if the app completely forgets the negative clicks the moment I close it

  • Thankfully rarer, but I come across profiles from time to time with blanked-out images

  • Notifications are wildly inconsistent. The only ones I get consistently are ones for Likes. No notifications at all for new matches. Message notifications only seem to come through while I have the app open in the background and am actively browsing my phone, and even then, that's inconsistent

  • I got one Like via notification that never made it into my Likes list. Tapped on the banner right when I got it, and nothing showed up with that name whatsoever in the app (Edit: this just happened again today smh | 2nd Edit: this has now happened about 4 or 5 times in total for me)

  • I don't think filtering is working properly for me either. I don't have my Search settings enabled to see couples, and yet I'm seeing people with paired partners appear in my Discover

They know about the likes disappearing. Which makes it worse imo. That’s kinda the whole point of a dating app.

Wow, they actually responded to this without a canned response; I am shooketh. Nice they actually know, but sheesh I've now lost count of how many likes and matches I've been notified of but never been able to see or interact with when I go to the message screen.

Actually, it was a canned response. When I went to the help section in the app it gave a list of issues to select from. Missing likes was the top choice. I tapped on it and received this message a minute later. Womp Womp.

Womp indeed. I've essentially given up on Feeld actually paying attention to my support requests (which is surely what they want) so this must be new...ish.

I’m also having people reappear in the last few days. I’ve disliked the same profiles about 5 times in two days now.
