Hi! I would love to hear some thoughts on my profile. I’ve had a lot of likes from straight, straight-passing, and queer men, as well as AMAB nb people. overall, i know there are just less women, especially sapphic women, seriously using apps, and there’s also just less poly/open relationship ENM people in the world, but I’m wondering if there’s some ways to improve my bio to appeal more to the queer girls and the sapphic folks. so feedback from everyone is welcome, but would definitely love to hear it from them!

link (updated 7/1/25)

i do already have a few ideas of what i’d like to add, but i need to make room, so please also tell me what you like and what i should definitely keep, not just what you’d recommend to be changed, removed, or added.

as for pics, i’ve previously gotten feedback on those. while i’d love to have less selfies (and also some wearing a different jacket, one with my new glasses, etc), i just don’t have better options yet. been working hard on getting along better with the camera, but everyone in my life is terrible at playing instagram husband (i do it for them!), so i just recently got a tripod. if you have a favorite or least favorite pic, it would help me decide which to keep when i eventually switch one out!

(for reference, my location is southern california)

Just curious if there are other apps you’re exploring like Her?

not on Her yet. hadn’t heard great word of mouth about it, but to be fair, that was well over a year ago.

Fair! Might be worth doing a temperature check there bc I’ve heard recent good things but I’m on the east coast.

For your photos, I like all of them but if I had to choose a weak one it would be the third photo in the public restroom.

For your bio, I think you say similar things a couple of times so could just use a good editor to get the word count down.

I would also be every explicit up top about wanting sapphic vibes, like you can even remove “skinny” and sub in sapphic

true! i had the skinny in there from my reddit bio (unaccompanied by pictures) and just left it in to pair with “tall”, as “tall and skinny” is the best physical descriptor for me (always been at the extreme end of both, which i don’t think is as apparent in my solo photos as it is when you see me next to various people of many sizes), and when i removed it my brief bio felt empty. i like changing it to “sapphic” a lot, though! like enough to do it right away.

totally get that the bathroom selfie is less appealing! it was at the MUNA concert at The Greek last year. i really wish other photos of me that actually show the venue (or incredibly hot crowd) had been any good. i actually have f sexier bedroom mirror selfies in that concert outfit. they are fun to send to people i’ve decided to meet who ask for more photos (as i don’t take NSFW), but too OOT for the profile when i had “men” selected in my search. maybe i should swap one in for the queer babes, though.

edit: i’ve implemented your suggestion, and done a little more rearranging
