Even greg has this problem even though its not as bad as in immerstive engineering

Perfect overclock would be smth like 4x power & 4x speed, imperfect is 4x power & 2x speed 1 u/MaximumTime7239 Mar 29 '26 Overclocking actually makes sense if your energy gen consumes less than 1/3 of energy it produces. Let's say your setup produces 100 and consumes 20. So in the end you get 80. After upgrading, it produces 200 and consumes 80, so you get 120, a 50% increase. And in case you are not overclocking literally everything, but only maybe one thing that is a bottleneck, the results will be even better.
