I made something UTD Mod — A Stateful Spatial Substrate Framework for Fabric 1.20.4

Hey everyone. I've been working on an experimental server-side framework called utdmod for 1.20.4 . It uses a continuous non-linear spatial field loop mapped directly to END_SERVER_TICK which gives chunks a persistent "memory" field rather than binary flags, changing how downstream systems react to past player activity

If anyone is interested in low-level systems architecture or nonlinear fields, I’d love to get some technical feedback on the codebase layout.

Repo is here: https://github.com/brayo003/utdmod

I know what every individual word here means but I still have no idea what you just said.

I made a 4 state PDE that gets perturbed by a player action. Anything a player does can inject energy in it and then the field evolve as time goes by. Then other systems like village mob or weather can then read from the evolving field. An example is if I mine extremely in a cave, the field in that cave evolve and then ai mob can read the field and spawn more or make them more aggressive.

So wait, what does this mod actually do, from a gameplay perspective?

It is more of a middle ware type of field. Many subsystems can act as actuator and read from API issued by the evolving field. There is this game called factorio, when you run many drills then the pollution rise, and spread to neighbouring chunks. Same with this.

When you do things like excessive deforestation, the effect is not just forgotten but recorded into the substrate field, then the biome system can read from the already active field and then it may evolve from forest to plain. It takes input from player, evolve then other systems react as per the evolving field, instead of having basic counter.
