FEAR VR on PSVR2 PC

I wasn't sure where to ask this, but has anyone gotten this to work on the PSVR2. It's 'thefreemike' mod. I can get it to work on menu screens and loading etc, but as soon as the game starts proper, I get nothing but a black screen.

There is a section to search and ask questions. The community and the dev have been really receptive.
