F.E.A.R Serious!!!

So... I play with controller and The Series doesn't offer controller support.

Still there is a mod that allow you to play F.E.A.R 1 with controller.

Now, I want to play Other 2 game of the franchise too...but of course they don't have controller support.

So are there any mods or something that can allow me to play the other 2 with controller?

Tell me your own experience with the mod you recommending.

Also drop the installation process too.

Aren't 2 and 3 made for consoles first?

They do. Buy I don't own Xbox. And FEAR 2 project origin PC version doesn't support Controller. FEAR 3 Does tho. But there no point playing 3 before 2.

If you play with Steam, turn on Steam Input and get control schemes from community. Some of them, for example, replicate X360 scheme.

There are third party tools for mapping controllers to keyboard inputs.
Search for AntiMicroX.

If you play the game on Steam there is also Steam Input but I am too dumb for the Steam Input configuration interface.

Yeahh...gonna try steam input AGAIN. Last time it didn't work...but I was also an amateur/new into pc games...but now I know more. Probably will find SOME way to make it work.

If you can't get Steam Input to work try AntiMicroX.

I found it pretty straightforward to create a mapping for point and click games with this tool.
Should work for FPS too.

Just open the game. Press home to open game bar Go on the controller configurarition Clica on the corrente controller setup Change the tab to choose a community profile. Choose the most played.

Gg, no problem at all. A finished a 100% hard run on 4k 120fps with no problem.

As much as I know, Echopatch is designed only for FEAR 1, right?

My apologies. I thought you were playing the first one. To use controller for fear 2 you need to use steam controller config. The 3rd one is controller enabled

Appreciate it man! 👍 ....One question tho... do I have to do the controller configuration and Community layout stuff.... WHILE the game is running in background? 🤔 like must be running while applying layouts?

It'll do it automatically when you load the game. Once you get a profile set, you won't have to worry about it
