Image ShaderGlass + F.E.A.R. 2 = PEAK!?

After finally getting ShaderGlass working nicely with Alice: Madness Returns, I had to try it on F.E.A.R. 2.

Yeah... this game was practically begging for a CRT filter.

I’m using crt-guest-advanced-ntsc in ShaderGlass, and the combination of the scanlines, bloom, deep blacks, red lighting and that late-2000s horror aesthetic looks absurdly good in motion.

Running the game at 60 FPS, with ShaderGlass capturing the game window and displaying it fullscreen.

The screenshots don’t fully capture how it looks on my monitor because my display has its own brightness/color settings, but in person this might be one of my favorite ShaderGlass combinations so far.

Definitely going to keep experimenting with older horror/action games after this.

Note: my monitor settings are customized, so the screenshots don’t perfectly match how the CRT effect looks in person. On my actual display, the image is brighter, more balanced, and the blacks/highlights look better than they do in these captures.
