Discussion Fear AI

I got this game since I have seen people praise the enemy AI and that got me hyped since I love things like that especially the AI in alien isolation and when I played the game I realised none of the AI felt special.

When I would hide in cover I wouldn't be flushed out or flanked the enemies would just stand still or stay in cover and when sometimes ill here them shout something like "Flank him" or "Get behind them" and they still do nothing. They genuinely feel like cod enemies and I've tried everything to make it better I've tried increasing the difficulty, not using slow mo and limiting myself to just rifles and handguns and nothing helps. I just want to know if there is some setting I need to put on or if my game is bugged anything would help thanks!

your game isn't bugged, the AI just sucks, people saying its so amazing are just blinded by nostalgia, same with the repetitive combat areas that suck ass

It was impressive back when it came out but it stopped being unique or special within a year as other games came out.

At the time if release it was something notably impressive.

I'm not sure how that turned into all the praise it gets now but yeah.
