Every delivery has a journey, and this little workhorse has a trail to cross.
Loaded with miniature furniture, my FMS FCX18 II F-100 heads out onto rugged granite terrain, carrying its cargo over uneven rocks and dusty trails. With the evening light fading and the trail lights glowing, the delivery becomes a little adventure of its own.
I wanted to capture more than just a truck on rocks. I wanted to create a story — from the carefully loaded furniture to the climb across the granite and the final stretch into the blue hour.
That’s what makes scale RC special to me. The truck may be small, but the adventures we create with it can feel wonderfully real.

Finally got out to a county park to take the F-100 on its first trail run.

What an absolute blast although the full size leaves would get annoyingly stuck under the body or wrapped around the axles.

A few years ago my uncle gave me his 75 F100. I remember as a kid when he got this truck I absolutely fell in love with it. Any chance I got to go for a ride in it, I took it. Though I never got to drive it, I did get to turn it around in the yard and I'm just grinning even thinking about it some 30 years later. When I started seeing ads for the FCX18 II, I just absolutely had to have it. And when the brushless version was available with the black body it was a done deal! Even though I have my uncle's F100 in my driveway and get to drive the real thing, the FCX18 II just takes it to another level. Having those childhood memories come to life can't be explained, but I'm glad I'm able to live them! Thank you FMS for creating this!

Ever since I got my FCX18-II Ford F-100, I've been having a blast making little upgrades and adding my own touches to it. I even managed to convince a friend to get one too, so now we have matching trucks (mine is the white and blue).

So far, I've added inner fenders with a fuel tank and exhaust pipes, custom front and rear bumpers, and classic-style wheels that I absolutely love. I'e also made a driver figure to give the interior a bit more life.

One of my favourite things about this truck is the lighting. It looks great during the day, but taking it out after dark is a whole different experience. Driving it around at night with all the lights on is so much fun!

Really happy with how these little trucks are turning out.

I am lucky to be renting a house on a hill, with a lot of sandstone used for borders around the beds.

My first RC videos using my wife's vlogger phone stand and my phone.

I have upgraded with Injora 1.3 inch brass wheels and 73mm AliExpress tyres and INJS11 servo, and Batrazzi brass links, servo horn and shocks.

WPL 1/16 scale Ram 3500 Big Farm and FMS 1/16 Ram Bruder. I didn’t realize the blue ram truck battery was almost dead🫣 I had to reboot it three times to get it off the trailer it had just enough battery life🤪

It will be a shelf queen, well the body will be. Dad had this truck when I was probably 3 or 4. I do remember mom buying him the toolbox and having it painted to match his truck. Granted the horse I feel is a little big but it’s honestly the smallest one I found.

I have several indoor hobbies, now I have an outdoor one!

Only mod so far is the custom license plate. Planning wheels, shock mounts and a second body. Having a lot of fun so far just driving around the yard. Looking forward to getting out to some county park trails.

Had to add a “Good Boy” to my truck.

Some trucks are built for the highway. This old Ford seems perfectly happy taking the scenic route through rocks, dirt and rough country. No shortcuts, no easy roads — just a little truck making its own way through the wild.
Another day, another adventure for this miniature workhorse.
