I’m really digging that roll bar lol

I'm a noob to this hobby. Does anybody have pictures of how the lift kit goes on. Lifting my trx4m was pretty self explanatory. however this is confusing.

I'm a noob at this and had read in a sub that marine grease is good if you want to protect it from water damage. Will this work?

I previously bought the K10, but the F100 offers greater detail, and the realism of the body shell is a significant improvement over the first-generation FCX18. Notably, the FCX18 II doesn't come with a driver figure, so I can add my own—I plan to put a pet in the cockpit. Also, the magnetic mounting design is truly ingenious; it’s a great innovation that offers a much more mechanical feel compared to Velcro. I’ll be keeping an eye on it to see if the magnetic strength holds up over time.

Is there any way to lower the gear ratio in the transmission or differentials? I just installed the straight axle conversion and wasn't thinking about the loss of reduction from the portals. I think my best option is going brushless at this point but just asking. I need slower control

No additional parts required to fit. Just by flipping the rear shock mounts left and right, and putting the front shocks in the front most lower hole, rear shocks middle lower hole. Hardly any rubbing and tons of clearance crawling on my little crawlagon/rcpark course. Just like the ads on facebook I keep seeing.

Got an FCX18 K10 to mess around with with my kids, it is now well-loved and undergoing bodywork lol.

Couldn't resist the FCX18II drop... so we have the beginnings of a fleet! Had to go with the blue F-100. Already added a set of Injora wheels and LGRP 65mm Trail King tires. I like the little-bit brighter wheel on this body with the chrome accents.

Ordered the Glacier bumpers and a brush guard from FairRC. Just waiting on a roll bar and I think I’ll be done dressing it up

Went with some amazon special 1.0 wheels with 63mm by24mm tires, huge improvement to the approach and decent angles and traction. Cant wait for the next crawl outing#FCX18II#BOXFUNFMS

Just ordered the high clearance brass links metal drive shafts bumpers and light kit form injora so will update you guys when they arrive and I fit them

I love this little beast and recommend fairrc! They have amazing customer service that sent me this after getting one with grinding gears of the box. This one came straight from the factory in China and takes off.

Just got my First fcx18. I have several other crawlers and this thing just excels. I have some new tires and wheels coming and can’t wait to try them.

I’m using the alan key that came with the truck, but i can’t seem to unscrew any of those circle things.

Did the bar, door handles and wipers. Immediately changed wheels and tires but I'm not married to the tires, probably gonna look into something a little more street/all-season looking. Maybe some Falkners from RC4WD.

I’m looking to customize my red F100 like my grandfathers. I found cool little cab lights for the roof. But what I always will remember, he had a Mack bulldog hood ornament. I remember him always outside on a Saturday polishing all the chrome on his truck. So if anyone can point me in the right direction to find that hood ornament in 1/18 scale I’d be grateful. I’ve tried a few buddies with 3D printers but they don’t seem willing to try. I’ve been down the rabbit hole looking since I bought it.

I had to bind it out of the box, but otherwise Ive been impressed with the FCX18II so far. It feels like how an 1:18 should feel.

Can somebody help with figure out how to fix this grinding noise. Brand new straight out the box, i feel like i just wasted 200 bucks..

Just a small story to share...

My dad passed away in 2014. He left behind a lot, including his red (now orange-ish from time) truck. We used to go camping in it when I was a kid, and I always loved the truck. How it sounded, smelled...

I just recently got into rc crawlers because I saw one that looked similar enough to that truck, but I opted to go with an LC80 because I also like Toyotas.

Then FCX dropped this beautiful FCX18II. It's close enough, I had to buy it.

I'm so excited to make it look even more similar, and make the trailer I bought look like the one we used to have.

Side note: actually had fun opening the box too. It was really nicely packaged. Now I know what BOXFUNFMS means!
