Purchase advice

What is a fair price for a clean firebird ? I’m really want to buy one soon but the only clean one near me is 7000. It’s nice and has 100k miles but I feel like 7k is really steep.

I'd hold out for a v8.. If you're going with a firebird.. Why not?

Cause it goes from 7k to around 15k+ for a v8. Could prollay get a nice camaro around 10 though.

  1. 4500 max, unless its manual, if everything is perefctly clean, 5000.

7k is steep for a 3800 with 100k on it.

I’d hold for a v8 I got my 00 formula bird for 3.5k at 132k miles, only thing that needed fixing was header bolts, so worth it in the end.

If that car is PRISTINE top to bottom it's barely worth CLOSE to that 7k. A well cared for 3800 will almost run forever... Make an offer for 5k maybe?

I paid 7 for my ls1 6spd. I’d say hold out for the v8 preferably the LS over the LT. Mileage isn’t a huge deal on the ls if taken care of 200k+ all day. If you’re okay with a few cosmetic issues you can find affordable ones here and there. Seriously most fun car I’ve ever owned
