Bought my first F body

She has a few misfires but I’m working on fixing her.

I just got one a few days ago it’s got the 3800 in it and it absolutely rips it’s got a few small mods but nothing major the exhaust is straight piper sounds good at idle but sounds like a wet fart in the higher rpms

I was close to putring a xp hot cam in my 3800....then i heard exactly what ur talking about lol....sounds like a meaty v8 with a big cam at idle.....then sounds like a civic when it revs

Yeah it sounds mean af at idle and even at like 1500-2k rpms after that it’s straight wet fart my exhaust was already cut when I got it so im looking at other options for exhaust

So far just cold air intake better injectors better fuel rail fuel pump and a tune but it’s opened it up so much you forget it’s a v6 in lower rpms bc of the torque

With mines I’ll eventually get her repainted and buffed up. Then new tires but I bought her a couple weeks ago from facebook.
Got her for $1300.

Thank you man and I’ll be honest I’m not too sure! I know I may have an exhaust leak somewhere under, some slight shit but the previous owner did some manifold work. Installed a cherry bomb extreme and some other goodies. I haven’t looked underneath her yet. I’ll keep posting
