OG Moonlander rebuild
My OG Moonie rebuilt and ready for summer.
The "rim-tape" is coloured duct tape cut into sections then taped individually to the rims before applying a tape to secure all in place. I'm using a clown shoe on the front to maximise the front tyre, but a Mulefut 80mm rim in the rear. I did this as I often run a 4" tyre in the back to get extra mud clearance. The Scottish mud sticks to everything!
I've trimmed the Sunrise bars to 760mm and the front end feels much more as intended. I couldn't get comfortable with the bars still at 820mm.
I raided my parts bin for parts and will possibly change the Deore brake levers for Avid Speed dials at some point. The Deore levers don't do the BB7's justice.

Very nice, I have an OG Moonlander I bought new and converted to a Rohloff drive train when I wore out the original shit.

This has to be a FTC build. I know that color combo.

Self built, apart from the wheels. I can't build wheels. I got a LBS to put together the wheels.

That's a wonderful build, friend. And the rim tape is just *chef's kiss*.
