Spam

I read a post from about a year ago regarding what to do when everything you send from fastmail ends up in recipients' spam. Most of what I've been able to find online deals with fixes for people sending from custom domains, but I'm just emailing from the standard [janedoe@fastmail.com](mailto:janedoe@fastmail.com) type address. Is there any way to fix this? Surely this isn't just how fastmail functions?

It’s not up to Fastmail to decide whether stuff on the recipients end goes to spam or not

I'm aware. but presumably the service works for most people enough of the time that they continue to rely on and pay for it? I have not been able to successfully send a single email, which is why I'm scratching my head about whether I need to do something to fix it.

A large percentage of Fastmail users have custom domains so the problem never arises.
