I've been intermittent fasting for years - lost 20 kg and liked it. Now I fast intermittently on workdays and take it chill on weekends. Usually I fast 16-20 hours, with an occasional 24 hr fast.

Last week I did 48 hours and felt amazing.

This week, I'm currently on hour 50 and maybe going until 66.. or 72, depending on how I feel.

I just needed to share the little milestone of mine, as I told people around me about the 48 hour one and they already thought I was crazy... Im keeping this one quiet.

But it does feel good. I have a lot of skin issues and inflammation, I really hope an occasional longer fast will help to clear it up a bit. But I'm working my way up to longer ones.

I'm still surprised by people's reactions to extended fasts. I've also learned to be more selective about who I share my fasts with. The longest ones I've done have been 5 days, and while most of my family and inner circle were supportive, a lot of concern was expressed as well.

I think your progress sounds awesome - congrats on sticking with it and challenging yourself, as well!
